Polynomials are sums of terms of the form kâ xâ ¿, where k is any number and n is a positive integer. For example, 3x+2x-5 is a polynomial. Introduction to polynomials. This video covers common terminology like terms, degree, standard form, monomial, binomial and trinomial.

I thought I was the only one who thought that... Well, at least I'm not alone. You can literally turn off the audio and then just watch him write. The most satisfying video I've seen so far.

I have difficulty understanding what my teachers are talking about because they all seem bad at explaining things but you make it so simple. And I love that because I love math and want to properly understand math.

Another rule you should watch out for is if, the polynomial has any terms that are being divided by a variable. If this is true then the formula is not a polynomial!

The one thing that he didn’t talk about is whether you could have more than a single variable in a polynomial. Eg. 3x^2 + 2y^3

10x^3 - 2x^2 + 14x^1/2 My teacher said that this is a polynomial but the 14x is raised to a fraction so shouldn't it not be?

I think coefficient of a term is any factor of that term whether it is a numerical coefficient or simply coefficient or whether it is a literal coefficient....but you said that only numerical coefficient is the only coefficient of that term however there are literals also waiting to get their chance as well....

Sir....in Wikipedia I found that "x" is called as indeterminate in polynomial expression but "x" is called as variable in polynomial function. I still can't get the difference mentioned in the Wikipedia about polynomial. Can you please explain me this clearly? Thanks in advance 🙏
