Polyphemus and Survive are definitely a good choice to do together, if you listen to the two back to back there’s a really smooth transition. I didn’t even notice the when the song had changed when I first listened to them. Mirscy’s eldritch cyclops design is also really cool (and terrifying), always fun seeing people’s first reactions to it 😂
I believe this Cyclops design was based off of Poseidon and all he rules over (Sea, Horses, Earth-quakes) because in myths most Cyclops (if not all) are children of Poseidon. So having a Cyclops with horse hoofs and a crab-like head is really cool. Or at least I think so.
Love your reactions so far. Not sure if you were already told, but the back ground/group vocals in all the songs have to exist in world. So usually when you hear group vocals it’s the soldiers/crew singing. The only exception is Gods, the Gods don’t need to follow the rules and just create backing/group vocals from both. It’s a cool detail and adds to the power difference between Gods and mortals. You can go back and hear this in Horse and the Infant with Zeus and Warrior of the Mind with Athena.
There are more things I notice every time; little hints at what's being done or about to happen in the next scenes. I'm def not pointing them out until the next one tho~
Mm, yes, I love the part in the next song when Michael Jackson comes back to life but to the past and rickrolls Odysseus until Athena turns over in her grave and Zeus makes a band with Shrek. Beautiful moment, brought me to tears 😢
