PolyU-supported start-up unleashes the life-changing impact for people with disabilities 

Libpet Tech Ltd., a PolyU-supported startup co-founded by PolyU alumnus Xu Huafeng, spent two years developing the all-terrain wheelchair "TENK". Equipped with a unique wheel-belt system, TENK can handle different terrains such as grassland, sand and even climb up and down stairs, enabling people with disabilities to travel with ease.
In addition, “TENK” users can control the direction, adjust the speed, and climb stairs through the control panel or mobile app. The app also provides real-time data for caregivers like family members to keep track of the user's location and receive emergency alerts.

理大支持的初創公司途齡科技有限公司由理大校友徐華峰共同創辦，團隊花兩年時間研發全地形輪椅「TENK」, 附有獨特的輪帶系統，可以應對不同的地形，如草地、沙地，甚至能上下樓梯，讓身障人士輕鬆出行。
除此之外，「TENK」用戶可以通過控制面板或手機應用程式來控制輪椅的方向，調節速度，並攀爬樓梯。該應用程式還會提供實時數據，讓照顧者如家人了解其行蹤位置並接收求救通知。
