Now multiply the barking and spinning by 2 🙉 and they've taught the cat being loud gets them fed so now the cat screams at feeding time too

You forgot to mention they used to be as big as a Huskey and even pulled sleds. But after queen Victoria breed them down to the size of a lap dog they nolonger have that job.

The original breed the queen bred them down from was a Klein Spitz. They weighed around 21 lbs. We bought a pure bred Pomeranian, who's Mom and Dad were 5 and 6 lbs. We were expecting him to be around the same weight. But, he kept growing and growing! He ended up at 21 lbs! We wanted a tiny dog🥴😂, but we loved him no matter his size! We found out that the Klein-Spitz gene is still very active and he was a “genetic throwback of the Klein Spitz”! Throughout the years, we saw many of these “throwbacks”!

I've had a "throwback" Pomie that lived to be 13 years old, he grew up with his brother, a short hair yellow tabby cat who lived to be 12.5. It was a pretty bad year when they left us. But, anyway, he was a great leash-free companion 18lbs. Had dna tested and turns out he was 1/4 chihuahua. When groomed "teddy-bear" he was the most handsomest giant chihuahua permanent-pup anyone can fall in love with, instantly. RIP. fast forward We are now the proud parents of 2 throwback pomeranian pups Brother and sister! Indica (silver sable male) is 18.9lbs and Sativa (jet black female) is 16.5lbs We love these little guys. Flew from San Diego to Nashville just for them when they turned 8 weeks. And I would do it again for them. 🥰

I had a pomeranian for 10 years, he was the most chaotic dog I've ever met (but in a good way) when you sat down on the couch he run at you full speed and then dive into your lap demanding cuddles. He'd only get aggressive when you took away his bones. Towards the end of his life he had a lot less energy, and struggled a lot more getting up on the couch, but would still pester you relentlessly until you pet him. He was such a good boy who loved everyone he ever met so deeply.

I had boy Maxwell for 14 years. He was a good boy. He was extremely smart, rarely barked. He was my best friend.

I’ve got a pom. My mom used to work at a school and brought her when she was a puppy so she’s well socialized. Only barks when my bigger dog barks, not aggressive, you would have to pester her a lot even for her just to walk away. She hasn’t been at the school in a couple years so she’s a bit scared of people but never aggressive. The potty training though. It’s so difficult

I have two poms and can’t imagine owning any other breed. They have all the confidence and spunk of a dog 5x their size; but they don’t realize or care. As long as they have their person, life is good☺️

Pomeranians originated in Poland and are named after the Pomerania region in north-west Poland. They are one of my favourite Dog breeds, because I'm from Poland and they are from Poland

I had a pom. He was the best dog I ever had and the smartest. He was so easy to tain, he even sneezed on demand. My son's friends loved him so much. He became the center of attention wherever we went.

I have a regular sized pom his name is lucky, and he is a very chaotic dog for 1 muinute he is asleep the other he is running around you at the speed of sound. he likes cuddles on the couch but he hates being picked up by people (exept for me). he hates other dogs but not cats i guess that its because i have a cat and also loves people. he is loud as hell at times. and hates toys. he has a interesting coat its not as fluffy as most poms his furr is white/creamy. but in the end no matter how chaotic i will love him and if you have a pet old/young, big/small you need to love since it loves you to, sadly animals dont live as much as humans do so this gives you the chance to give it more affection then it gave you.

My grandma used to have a neighbor who had a very sweet pomeranian. I'd go visit them whenever I had permission from my grandma so I could see the lil puffball! She had a long light tan coat and was named 'Tiffany'. Sadly, the neighbor moved when I was 14 and Tiffany did pass away in 2021. Miss you Tiffy! :) ❤

my baby passed away Thursday, the most handsome Pomeranian ever. I got him when I was only 10, im now 23. He was 14 when he passed 3/23/23. Im going to miss you so much baby.. I’m crying now. I hope you’re at the Rainbow bridge i’ll meet you there ❤❤❤

Sorry for your loss. It's difficult I know. I just posted my Yorkie. 12 years old. He was a great dog and listened well, smart loveable. We just decided to get us another furry pup child lol. This time we got a pom, only a few hours in and he's getting comfortable. He just started playing lol. We can tell already that he's going to be great. Can't replace the other dog but that's OK. Takecare and I hope you have another dog as well.

I have 2 Poms and I have NEVER read or heard of them hunting small rodents. Yes they can have a high prey drive but it’s rare if they catch anything. Also Poms can suffer from syringomyelia, collapsed trachea, tooth issues and black skin disease. Do your proper research people(talk to owners, breeders and look up Pomeranian clubs), I’ve seen many people fall for this misinformation. That sadly means the dog normally has to be rehomed, sold, suffer with ill health or die.

My great aunt, before she passed away from not taking care of her health issues had Pomeranians , and the only Pomeranian she had left was a Pomeranian named Bear Bear that my great uncle took in then my great uncle got another Pomeranian named Roxy. Both Bear Bear and Roxy Pomeranians are the most sweetest Poms that I ever met in my heart ❤️ 💙 ❤️‍🔥💜 💖 💗 💘🩷❣️
