I'm going to their YT site and bookmark this performance right now. Oh, and you and your babies are three of the cutest cutie-pies I've ever seen! And, I'm old (74). So, I know these things. 😁
I was resisting watching this performance until I saw that you were reacting to it, so Thank You!!! What a funky groove! I love their Daft Punk and ELO covers, as well, as if you'll ever run out of suggestions, recommendations, and requests! :D
Pomplamoose is one of those groups that, after you've watched a few of their videos you just begin to ... fall in love with them? Something like that. Nataly doesn't have a strong voice, but it's pleasant enough. She's got tons of "personality." As does Jack. Pomplamoose is just the two - husband-and-wife multi-instrumentalist Jack Conte and singer-songwriter (and bassist) Nataly Dawn. They are together exceedingly creative, artistic, and just plain smart people. Jack being smart enough to create Patreon - an 8-year old now Billion dollar company !! Much of Pomplamoose's earlier work (b. 2008) is just the two of them, lots of multi-track/over-dubs. You should check out some of that - creative / artistic and just really fun stuff. I see some cross-pollination lately between Jack Conte and Scott Bradlee /PMJ. That's an interesting development. p.s. Pamplemousse is French word for grapefruit. I expect there's a story about how Jack and Nataly came to choose that name. Anyone? Anyone"
Very cool arrangement and both singers were great! Lots of enthusiasm in their effort... very good and I loved it! Thanks, Maunalee, for this reaction!! (BTW, there's a new Angelina single being released Friday (March 19))
Something that struck me as you were talking about your Patreon. Jack Conte, who is the keyboardist for Pomplamoose, is the co-founder and CEO of Patreon. Fun fact. Loved the reaction.
PMJ and Pomplamoose are two of my favorite current bands. The arrangements are wonderful and the musicians are so good! I still think you ought to try listening to a few of their French songs ... just fabulous! Of course I'm 78 so my taste may not be everyone's ... If you're going to react to any of their French songs please save "Les Yeux Noir" for that - I just think it's the cat's pajamas!
Kewl I love mashups. Especially well done ones (that's the reason I've been subscribed to Bill McClintock's channel for so long) Also, I thought the blonde girl kinda looked like a young Joni Mitchell in a few of those shots. Glad to see You, and the wee beasties are lookin happy and healthy. Enjoy Your snow. :-) Here in my little corner of Southern Ontario, we barely got any snow this winter, and the little we had, is all but completely gone now. :/ once again Great reaction, as always keep on, keepin on.
Been listening to your reactions for a long time.. Please, please react to Home Free..when a man loves a woman I’m sure you will love it Anticipating you REACTION Danny....Louisiana
