You must give kudos for the lyrics, if nothing else. She wrote this ! It is words......with meaning. Not a silly phrase yelled over and over. She just turned eighteen years old. She is a musical genius.
Old school 60s, a classic Porsche, Beautiful Angelina with Grandma Mery riding shotgun cruising Beverly Hills streets, back in the day! The song has that jazzy feel, however, with a current beat. Only Angelina Jordan can write heartfelt lyrics about lost love with an up-tone sound. Her endless talent will capture music lovers worldwide as her Star rises to new heights. I have followed Angelina's career from 7yrs old to 17, and like a proud Grandfather, tears come to my eyes as I have seen her grow, from that 7 yrs old little girl with big hair, and missing teeth to a beautiful young Lady with big gorgeous Hair!
One of the things to keep in mind for her new songs. They are all her autobiographical diary notes. This one is she’s old enough to leave the womb of her family and she’s trepidatious. There’s a full arc in message and genre on the ep. FYI fire and rain is for the love of her fans always being with her. It’s the only one she’s revealed its message in a call in.
In fact Angelina has said that her song ideas and lyrics come from the journals that she has been writing in since she was a little girl. She says she has written over 100 songs, and I’m sure she will continue to write so a lot of those songs may never see the light of day.
Her Grandma Mery Zamani was her original inspiration and introduced Angelina to music, expressly, Jazz. So Iranian-born, Artist and poet, Mery is in Beverly Hills with her now famous and successful Grand Daughter, Angelina. Very much meaning in this video. The guitar in the back seat is the same one she played in the antique furniture store while covering Elvis' "Suspicious Minds." This was a debut single release a couple of months ahead of the EP, which continues the story she is telling. We are still awaiting the release of the rest of the complete Album. Soon I hope.
Strange there is no mention of the debut album coming out. The last we heard it was to be "In the fall of 2023", now it is January of 2024 and not a word from Angelina. or RR. Some comments here and there suggest there may be no "Debut album"at all. I spent a good deal of money on a nice new portable record player hoping for a great vinyl LP
After the 1st 30 seconds I can already say that I am enjoying this more than the last one. After so many covers, Angelina is developing her own style and I like it.

Always have enjoyed your song reviews. I am a forever fan of Angelina--love her voice, love her love of others, but most especially her love of family. The older woman in the video was grandmother Mery and the emotional connection between those two is palpable. I hope you have the opportunity to react to her recent performance before the Nobel Peace Price tribute to last year's recipient, Narges Mohammadi, currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event, and met with Angelina prior to her performance. Most of the performers that evening were Iranian. Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry, and was one of Angelina's primary mentors. I can only imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. Whatever they were, this performance had to be extremely poignant to Angelina and her family. This song, Love Don't Let Me Go, is from her new EP, Old Enough. I hope you have a chance to review all the others. The album is amazing, just like Angelina. But the most amazing performance is the one at the Nobel tribute.
I love this song. In my top 3 from her EP. The other two being Now I’m The Fool and Diamond The song is getting some airplay around the world. About 500 spins per week. Obviously not huge numbers but not bad for a song and a relatively unknown artist that have yet to be promoted. In fact 15 to 20 Angelina tracks receive some airplay each week in 25 or more countries (very little in US unfortunately). Hopefully the numbers will increase when she is finally promoted and introduced to the rest of the general public.

Maunalee the next 4 songs only have a picture but are well worth listening to. I find they help to concentrate on the music. They have more production power to them and I think you will like her creativity in them.

"Now I'm the Fool" is the 2nd track and the only other one with a music video. The remaining 4 only have visualizers, but are a must to react to. OMG, twins on the way!! Double the pleasure. Just love everything Angelina does, just wonderful. Ren is the hottest artist around at the moment and as he is independent he doesn't copyright his work and has a massive following. Not all his music will appeal for sure, but there are over 100 that will ( inc The Big Push , the band he is in ) I would highly recommend " Penitence " with Molly McKinna. A bigger hit and stunning track is " Chalk Outlines LIVE ( must be live ) with Chinchilla , she has also just broken through.

If you are going with a Windows PC, Acer is not a bad choice. There are a lot of places selling PCs as new that are way out of date for low prices and it is hard to identify them unless you do a minimum of research. Other brands such as Asus and Lenovo are also great choices.

Not relevant but neither were your comment about it. The "economy" is not bad. The economy is strong, vibrant, stable and resilient. Many folks, whose income has not kept up with inflation (i.e. the military) are affected negatively and rents/home prices are ridiculous, but that's not the entire economy. So, in your situation - moving, having twins, laptop dying and whatever else you're going thru - sort of exaggerates economic impact for you. I only go into this because it's a national election year and your comment on the economy sounds politically one sided and I don't think you intend get into that crap.
