Pond hopping for bass with Everett. The catfish are on beds so we invaded several ponds. Weightless wacky rigs produced all day long, and we caught way too many to put on video! i've been tryin to catch a bass for 3 weeks and notn. U got me beat easy

They was hid up under the shade during high sun, then later in the evening on the weed edges hitting top water. We used weightless wacky. I was using 8# braid. The bass action here has been fast in ponds, rivers and lakes. I suspect that will change in a couple weeks when the real heat sets in.

Most complex ponds have bass and bluegill. A few association ponds we have put crappie in. Make sure it's cool to fish though, some places can be strict and if your not with the resident in person they will make you leave.
