Jay Watson is fucking bomb on drums! So often overlooked, but he always seems to put the perfect fill or rhythm into every track. Such good style and gets a brilliant sound out of his drums

So the keyboardist for Tame Impala is playing Drums here, And Drummer for Tame Impala is playing bass here, And the former Bassist of Tame Impala is playing guitar and singing here. How talented are these guys?

I remember talking to Nick a few years back in Seattle before one of his shows for Tame Impala, asking him for advice as a fellow musician. He kept insisting that he really wasn't the right person I should be asking. Yeah fucking right Dude!

The last part of Midnight Mass is just the best.

Cloud Control, the High Highs, Pond, Tame Impala. Sooooo much good music coming out of Australia and what do we get here in Wichita Kansas? We get three "classic rock" stations playing 40 songs from 40 years ago over and over again.

Pond has such a magical sound but at the same time they're just a bunch of guys having fun. They became my favorite band quickly after discovering them. KEXP, bring them back to the studio for another round!

I love all PONDS output. They're an incredible group. Bursting with melody and creativity. Never contrived. Nik is a huge pop star in waiting imho. Interesting to here them talk about Hobo Rocket as being a rock album - I appreciate that it is "rockier" on the whole - but it also has one of my favourite POND songs on it - the totally not rock, beautifully woozy and groovtastic O Dharma on it.

This band is amazing and I'm lucky enough to have found them and see them play. Can't wait for the new album.
