Man you have explained it so simply and beautifully, and it is a very accurate plan which you have laid out. I feel really lucky to have come across your video and I hope more and more people see it. Again superbly done and keep posting more such stuff!!
Feels really great to hear your comment Mr. Amitabh. And thank you for watching the video and appreciating it. Keep supporting and request you to keep spreading the vibe in your friends and family groups.. And we will strive to produce such content for all viewers like you.. Thank you once again.. !!
Great informative video. Like the saying worthwhile things take time, your detailed video which may be scary to some viewers but once you spend 10 minutes into it, you realize that this is a well-researched and first-hand experience video and for the whole 52 minutes, it remained informative.
First of all, thank you Mr. Debashish for watching the video and appreciating the same. It feels really great when the work of small content creators like us are recognised in this manner. This is the lengthiest video of my channel. Initially I was thinking that it will not be much liked by viewers mainly because of its length. But now after so many positive comments it really gives confidence. So please be is touch, and keep supporting like this. And stay tuned for more of such interesting videos. Thank you once again 🙂👍🏼
Thank you very much Fazil for fully watching this lengthiest video of my channel and liking it🙂 Glad to hear that you found the video informative. Please feel free to reply back if you need any further help regarding your Pondy trip. Thank you once again ☺️👍
Followed your superb video about Mamallapuram I already booked a hotel their. Now after seeing this video I am interested to visit Pondichery for a one day trip from and to Mamallapuram. So please suggest a best guidelines for a day family trip with my parents, wife and daughter. Really your videos motivate me to explore that place. Thanks.
Hello Supriya..!! Welcome to Travel Yatra. Thank you very much for watching the video as well as your lovely comment. Now if you want to make one day tour from Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry and that too along with your parents, then I prefer not to go for the budgeted options like a bus travel and all as I say in my videos (because you have less time as well as elderly people with you). So what you can do is just hire a car and proceed. first you can visit Auroville as it's comes first when you travel from Mahabalipuram towards Pondicherry, then go to rock beach area and spend some time and see nearby church and temple. Then in the evening spend some time in resto cafes of French colony and feel the French vibes. And finally return back (as you have hired car, so a little late return will be ok). Hope this plan which clicked in my mind for you just after seeing your comment will give you a better idea, and of course you can modify the plan as per your convenience. For any further clarification please feel free to reply back. Thank you once again Supriya ☺️👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog Thank you a lot. I think you suggest me the best options, all the places in my mind. Only the Eden beach and paradise beach could not be included. Ok, I know it's a short time. I will follow you completely dada. Thanks once again. Please make a video on Kanyakumari. I will also visit this place.
It's really worth watching... Even if it's a long one😊.... I'm about to visit pondicherry and I got to know a lot from your video🙂 I also watched your Mahabalipuram video 😁
Once again I must say, thank you Ajay ji for watching this Pondy video and finding it informative. It's a bit lengthy video but here I tried to give information in such a way that if anyone is planning for Pondy trip and see this video, then he/she should be very much clear about in and out of Pondy and able to plan the trip smoothly. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hey buddy. Im really thankful for such a detail video. Absolutely great work. Would really appreciate if you can make some informative video on recommmended stay places in pondicherry.
Thank you Mr. Gaurav for your comment and appreciation. Glad you see that viewers are liking the content irrespective to the length of the video. Regarding stay recommendation in Pondy, i would say that for budget stay you can check around Pondy bus depot area. And for a leisure stay you can check in French colony area. And for luxury stay there are some premium options like Radisson Resort Pondicherry Bay, Le Pondy Beach Resort etc.. so you can just go to any hotel booking website and see all these hotels and their amenities and directly book it from there. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Wow.. what a detailed video. Initially when I saw duration of video was 52 mins I wanted to skip it. But just bcoz this video was posted 5 days back and I am planning to visit pondy next week I watched the video. Good that I watched it full and didn't skip. One question to you please... Last boat from paradise Beach is at 5:30 I guess.. which means mostly we will not get the sunset view. But with your route can we wait there until sunset and then return later? Are you staying there for few years now as you know the place in detail or just a tourist for this place?
Thank you very much friend for your appreciation and also for watching the full video. And yes, the 52 min timeline is little scary for viewers to choose, but I tried to give a full detailed information in this video specially for those who want to plan a trip to pondy and want a structured, accurate and a very clear daywise schedule of each and every small thing to explore the entire Pondicherry in three days. That's why the video became a bit lengthy. And I personally didn't want to make it in two parts😊. Now coming to your query, Yes if you walk from Eden beach you can see the sunset at Paradise, and then come back to Eden again. But don't be too late after sunset because in Eden beach general till 7 to 7:30 they vacate the beach and after that if you make a exit via this beach then there may be a question that where were you till now. But it's not too harassing. Sometime the authorities may casually ask you. You can always have a advantage to say that you are a tourist and first time to this place and was not aware of the exact timings. that's it😊👍🏼 By the way from Eden Beach also you can enjoy a very good sunset view. infact it's better from Eden beach i feel. Coming to your second query, Yes i stayed in pondy for around 8 months. Temporarily I was shifted to Pondy from my head office for work purpose. So thus I came to know a little bit in depth about this place and thought of sharing it with you all. Thank you once again Real Critic team🙂🙏 (Please mention your name in next comment)
Thank you very much Sanjay ji for liking the video and appreciating the content. Actually it's the longest video of my channel 😁 Initially thought that nobody will be interested in watching this type of large content, but finally I can see a good response in it. Thank you 👍🙏🏽
Thanks a ton Debjit.. Feels great to see such comment. As per your time convenience you can also check other video playlist like Maldives series, Mahabalipuram series, Darjeeling series playlist and all... Hope you will like them too, because those videos are also made in similar fashion.. And be connected, keep supporting like this and always stay tuned to Travel Yatra for more of such videos in near future.. Thank you once again Debjit :-)
Thank you very much Shilpi for following and specially for liking this lengthiest video of my channel. Please feel free to reply back in case you need any further assistance for your upcoming Pondy trip...😊👍🏼
excellent.... though it was almost one hour long, but for once didn't feel like skipping the video... very informative and engaging as well.. keep covering more places..
Thanks once again Arna for watching this video also.. And special thanks for watching the entire 52min video without skipping 🙂👍🏼 Next video is fully on Auroville. Editing going on. Hope you will like that also.. Stay tuned...🤗👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog me & my friends are planning to visit pondy this year.. how can I get in touch with you as I had a few questions regarding our itinerary?

First of all, a great video. You have guided properly in this video which is very helpful for each and everyone who wish to visit pondicherry. I have a few queries as I am planning to visit Pondicherry in a month: 1. Where to stay in Pondicherry? Any low budget hotels from where we can visit all these places? 2. If we stay near Chennai Central station, then how to go to bus stand to take bus to Pondicherry? 3. Can we get bus if we want to come back to chennai from pondicherry in the afternoon/evening? It will be very much helpful if you could please answer these queries.
Hi Soumya, Thank you for your comment, and surely I will help with your queries... 1. If you stay near the Pondy bus stand area, that will be a best budgeted option as well as center of the city, from where all places will be easily accessible. Some of the hotel options I already mentioned in this video. Ceck the same. Also if your are coming with family, then I will suggest you few more as follows :- a. Sri Balaji Villas b. Bon Stay Inn c. Sunflower Villa d. NKS Homestay 2. From Chennai Central to Pondicherry, how to reach easily, for that just check my another video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7NW532htzdU.html Here you will get a very detailed and clear idea about it. 3. Pondicherry to Chennai buses are available till late night also. So no need to worry. Anytime you can return from Pondy to Chennai. But just remember that travel time will 3.5 to 4 hours. So as per that check your reaching time. If you come to Chennai at midnight, then you have to take cab or the transportation to your hotel/station/airport and all will be a bit hectic for you. (last metro in all root is around 11:30 pm or so.) please make a note of it. Thank you..
Hi Kritika, In Pondicherry if you want to visit mangrove forest and do boating, then just type "Mangrove forest boating Pondy Mangrove" in Google map and you will get it. It's within the city only. But if you really want to experience the world's second largest mangrove forest (1st is Sundarban mangrove in West Bengal and partially in Bangladesh) then you have to visit Pichavaram mangrove forest which is at just one hour distance from Pondicherry (in Chidambaram). In order to reach Pichavaram you can go via your rental two wheeler or 4 wheeler. Or via public transport you can take any bus going from pondy to Chidambaram. And from Chidambaram to Pichavaram you can again take a local buses there or just take a local auto. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Thanks Madhavi, For making the video in detail, it gone till 52 minutes. Unknowingly made such a long video. I think it would have been better if the video was in two parts. But anyhow I will always try to give my viewers a good content & detailed information in all my videos weather its a 5 min video or a 50 min video. So enjoy with patiance 🤗 And thanks once again Madhavi for watching the video👍🏼
Thank you very much my friend. Glad to hear that you found the longest video of my channel informative. Please feel free to reply back in case you have any other query regarding your Pondicherry trip. Thank you once again 😊👍
Hi Ganesh, Check from Pondicherry bus depot, you will get few direct TNSTC buses till Kanchipuram (online booking not available. It's offline on bus ticketing). And if the frequency is less, just take a bus till Villupuram bus depot (there will be plenty of TNSTC buses till Villupuram) and then from Villupuram you will get direct buses till Kanchipuram. Hope this helps you. Thank you 😊👍
Thank you Sumedha ji. After Pondicherry series I have few more destinations list in queue. One it's done I will surely make Chennai videos. There are many queries regarding Chennai videos. so stay tuned and enjoy. In between if you are planning for Chennai trip or need any assistance regarding Chennai trip you can always reply me in this and I will be happy to help you😊👍🏼
Thank you very much Dhaneshwar for liking the video. And special thanks for watching the longest video of my channel and denoting it as "comprehensive". Thank you very much 😊👍
Hi Akshay, Both places are best for stay. It depends on your tour itinerary. Better option is to stay in Pondicherry during your entire tour and while returning back, complete one day tour of Mahabalipuram(without any stay). You can check my one day Mahabalipuram tour itinerary video for more details about Mahabalipuram one day tour. Thank you Akshay 🤗👍🏼
You suggested to walk from Eden Beach to Paradise beach, but in map there is a broken land between Eden beach end and Paradise beach. You can see a part of sea between both ends of land. So how did you crossed it and reached Paradise Beach ?
Very well noticed Munish ji.. I specially want to thank you for watching my video in such depth and noticing such specific things in it. Actually the piece of small water body which is cutting Eden & Paradise beach, is basically the connection of backwater and the sea. But this connection is not there always. Only when there is continuously heavy rain during July August and all, that time (only for few days) you may see this water body connection due to high water level. Or else generally it's dry and you can walk from there and go from Eden to Paradise beach very easily. Hope this solves your query. And thanks once again Munish..🙂👍🏼
@Travel Yatra, I traveled to Pondicherry last week and found that they don't allow tourists to walk towards Paradise Beach from Eden Beach (and vice versa), citing security concerns. Since, exactly at Wolfie's point there is a water stream cutting both the beaches mostly during the rainy season. But, Istill feel that the real reason for not allowing must be to persuade people for opting a 350₹ boat trip to Paradise Beach from Chunnambar Boat House.
Hi surbhit, Thanks for the update. And Yes, that part remains cut off if there is a water flow in between. But it remain like that only during extreme rainy season. Or you can say mostly during November and December. But rest whole year that area is totally dry. And in the entire year we went many times from that way between two beaches. Thank you once again Surbhit for discussing on this important topic? 🤗👍🏼✌️
E-bikes available for rent?? Hotel option to choose near bus-stand or railway station or else near beach, which is most favourable??? Lunch & Dinner average per head cost?
Hi Subhajit, Exactly Not sure about E-Bike rental because I didn't see it at any bike rental shop of Pondy. For budget stay, best option is to stay near bus stand area in Pondy. An average or basic decent lunch + dinner will cost roughly around 100+100=200 rupees per person in Pondicherry. Thank you 🙂
For budget hotels, you can get few options just outside the Pondy bus depot area. I have mentioned a few budget hotels in between the video (with contact and other details). Please check the same. Thank you 😊👍
My mother and I will be traveling to Pondicherry this winter but we cannot ride scooty or bikes. Is there any other method to visit all the places without walking? Thanks
Then for you both I think the best option is to use the online cabs and hire auto for short distances. Ola Uber are available in Pondicherry. So book cabs each time from one point to another point and explore things. In your case I feel this will be the easiest and budget option for you and your mom. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Thank you very much Uma. Although the video is a bit lengthy but happy to hear that you found the video informative. Reply back in case of any further assistance required regarding your Pondy trip. Thank you once again 🤗👍🏼
Hi Shambhavi, Thanks for your input. I will implement your suggestion and apply it in the next video itself. Next video is on Singapore local travel guide, for which editing is going on. And in between saw your suggestion so just removed the background music. By today i will try to upload the video. Just check and tell me there in comment if it's working well. Also i feel i have to use a proper and more sophisticated mic. So suggest that too if you have knowledge of it. Thank you once again Shambhavi for your valuable input..🤗👌👍🏼✌️

Hello TY, thank you for a great, wonderful and very informative video on pondi trip. I am planning a family trip during last week of Dec 22. I have a query same as Munish but not able to read your reply. I also noticed a broken land between Eden beach and paradise beach.. there is a part of sea and we do not know how Deep or shallow it is. Is it possible to cross it with kids. There are chances that security people from Eden beach may not allow to cross this as this is a Blue certificate beach.. awaiting your reply
Hello Mr. Sanjay.. Well noted.. I will try to clarify it.. And thanks once again 🙂👍🏼
Yes . this is very helpful.. thank you. but is there tourist buses who can give us a calculated itinerary and We can visit all those places in lesser charge.. actually we are 4 people husband wife and two grown up kids.. thank you
Like Goa, Amritsar and few other cities, there is no such hop-on hop-off type bus service in pondicherry for city tour.. But if you want a budgeted alternative, then limited service of buses are available for almost every area like Auroville, Eden beach and all.. so you can go in these places by buses and explore it. And for French colony and all you can take small distance autos or ola/uber upto a point and then you can walk around and explore all surrounding areas like Aurobindo ashram, rock beach, lanes of French colony etc.. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Thank you so much for such a detailed information about the places..I have watched your Mahabalipuram video and then pondi video.. I missed the connectivity..how you reached pondi and the time also where you stayed in pondi..Please clarify.. thanks in advance..stay safe
Hello Sridevi, For Pondicherry you can take bus number 108 which starts from Chennai and passes via mahabalipuram ECR bus stop. From Chennai it will take 4 hours and from Mahabalipuram 2 hours 30 min approx. And for stay there are many budget hotels near the bus stand area only. I have given link of few budget range hotels in the description area of this video, which you can check and go for online booking for the same. Hope this solves your query and for any further details please feel free to reply back. Thank you once again 🙂👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog thank you so much for your response..but my query is at what time left Mahabalipuram and how you manged the hotel checkout there and at what time you have reached Pondicherry..
I didn't plan the Pondy trip from Mahabalipuram. The three days Pondy trip was done from Chennai. And my mahabalipuram trip was done seperately before few weeks (from Chennai). But from Mahabalipuram if you want to do your Pondy trip in continuation, then you can see all the monuments and start for Pondy by late afternoon around 5 or 6pm so that you reach Pondy by 8pm and after hotel check in and dinner at Pondy you can start you Pondy sightseeing tour freshly from next day. Please reply back further queries. Thank you ☺️👍🏼
We are visiting to Pondicherry next week.. you video is really verry helpful.. we don't have license unfortunately. so could you share any other budget option to visit Auroville and paradise beach from white town?
Hello Nabanita, No problem if you don't have DL. I will guide you for some alternative ways. For auroville there are three buses at 7:30am, 1:30pm and 4:30pm from the pondicherry bus stand. So as per your schedule just take the morning or afternoon bus and reach auroville, similarly for return again there are three bus timings, so you can return back very easily. auroville.org/page/where-is-auroville And for paradise beach, just go to this location maps.app.goo.gl/Dgryi79qKfx9MBn5A And from there take buses which goes towards Cuddalore or some other small areas and get down at "Purnakuppam Bus Stand" and from there you can take a auto to reach paradise mall, which is hardly 3 to 4 km I think. Thank you 😊👍
@@TravelYatraVlog If I'm visiting auroville by bus then from there how can I cover auro beach and serenity beach on the same day? also if there's any option to book auto from white town who will take us to auroville then auro beach and the serenity beach? if yes then how much it'll cost to book that auto for the day?
If you want to hire a auto, then it's an easy option which you can do anytime from anywhere. For a half day tour to auroville and serenity beach and all, the auto will take not less than 800 rupees I think. But another option is, just take the morning bus to auroville, and while returning from auroville again take the afternoon bus but get down at this location (Bommayarpalayam bus stop) maps.app.goo.gl/P9GR35ZaUuajoMuM9 Then from here you can walk or hire a small auto (via online app or offline) to the two beaches and then while returning again come to main road. From there just board any bus going towards the Pondy City. All buses will go to the Pondy bus stand finally. And then get down There. Thus you can complete the Auroville tour as well as you can see the two beaches also in a budgeted manner. Thank you 😊👍
Awesome video and great job. I just one query, can we reserve a cab in a day wise manner and visit the places you mentioned? And do you have any idea about the cost and any contact details. It will be very helpful.
Hi Soumendu, Yes, like bike rental you can also go for car rental or best is a self drive car rent for a day... There are many travel agency who provide self drive cars as well as cab service on per day basis for city tour. One of them is SAN CARS. You can check their current cost by calling them directly. I am given the contact and address details below for your reference. 2nd Floor, back to, Bus stand, 118, Thiruvalluvar Salai, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Brindavan Colony, Puducherry, 605013 091711 22720 g.page/san-cars---self-drive-car-rental?share Hope this information will help you with your query. Thank you once again 🙂👍🏼
Yes, why not..!! There are plenty of hostels in Pondy for stay. You can select any of them and go ahead. If you have any hostel already in your mind then just go for it or else see "booking . com" and many more hotel booking websites are there as reference for many other options. And during your Pondy trip please feel free to reply back for any other query related to the trip. Thank you. And enjoy your vacation. 🙂👍🏼
Check for "Lotus Bay View Hotel" or "Lamel Cove Beach Resort. By the way getting a budget hotel near beach as well near transportation and center location is really a challenge. If you are searching for a budget stay option then you have to go a little far from the main centre location of pondicherry. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi. Very neatly explained and also informative. I am also planning a Pondi trip with my partner. So it would be very helpful for me if you can confirm a few things with me. 1) Any idea if it will be good to plan during the new year ? 2) Can we roam around in our car ? I mean how's the parking facility ? Thanks in advance !!!
Hello Siddharth, Ofcourse it will be a perfect option to choose pondicherry for new year's Eve. In pondicherry the celebration becomes very happening. And there will be no problem to travel with car and parking and all. Last two years due to COVID there were restrictions. But this time the scenario will be different I hope (if again there in no pandemic threat). Various pubs, resto bars and other amenities will be open till late night, rock beach will be full of youth. Entirely French colony will be lively and very much vibrant. So overall it will be a great fun. So you must go if you have a plan. Thank you 😊👍🏼
A simple "thank you" won't justify the work you are doing. Really informative and also I have never seen anyone else replying to comments as soon as you. Cheers brother !!!🤘
You sàid one can walk across to Paradise Beach from Eden Beach but as per the Map you showed it is not a continuous Beach walk. There is a water body between EDEN and Paradise Beach. So how are you recommending "walking across" to Paradise Beach.. You forgot to mention Crafts Bazaar near Promenade Beach as a shopping area. Also Manakul Vinayagar Temple is a very short walk from Sri Aurobindo Ashram and can be covered within the same day.. Why suggest a different day to visit the Vinayagar Temple ?
Hi Jayanto, Actually the piece of small water body which is cutting Eden & Paradise beach, is basically the connection of backwater and the sea. But this connection is not always there. Only when there is continuously heavy rain during monsoon, that time only you may see this water body connection due to high water level. Or else generally it's dry and you can walk from there and go from Eden to Paradise beach very easily. Hope this helps.. Thank you 😊👍
@@TravelYatraVlog the stream also exists in November and December..The point that the psth is Not always clear for crossing between the two beaches should have been made clear in the vdo otherwise viewers are misled

Thank you Mishra Ji for your query and also for subscribing my channel... Now coming to your question, car parking is easily available in most of the areas. In some areas it's free and other places you may have to pay for it. Auroville: Paid parking available. French colony: Free parking in front of cafe or resto bars you are going. Rock beach: Free parking Eden beach: Paid parking. Similarly you can roam almost every places in Pondicherry and you will not face any problem for your four wheeler parking. Hope this solves your query Thank you once again 🙂👍🏼
Hello Rinku, If you are searching for exactly a sea facing beach resort or beach hotel in Pondicherry, then they are a bit costly. It will start from minimum 3k to 4k per night. Some of them are as follows:- 1. Beach Horizon Ocean View Reasort. 2. Beach Bubbles 3. Serenity Beach Villas 4. Lotus Bay View Hotel On the other hand if you search for hotels which are just near to beach (almost within 100 to 200 metres from beach) then you can find many option in a budget range of 1000 to 1500 rupees per night. Thank you 😊👍🏼
I m planning to visit Pondy in last week of Sept-22, Is this time ok or rainfall will be there? pl.reply. Absolutely fantastic your vlog.. we like very much 👌👌
Hello sir, Thanks for your query.. And good to hear that you like the video...🤗 Regarding the September last week weather i would like to inform you that it will be a rainy season in Pondicherry and other east coast areas. So if you plan for your pondy trip during this time you will surely get some slight rain. But on other hand you will get low hotel prices and less crowd in all areas due to non peak season. So in this way you can enjoy more. But during travel you can face some problem if you hire two wheeler. So I suggest you to check the actual weather conditions after reaching there, and if it rains too much, then if possible hire a 4 wheeler during these days if you are coming in a group of 4 or 6. Thats how your trip will be convinient, smooth and budget friendly. Hope i helped you with your query. Thank you once again 😊👍🏼

Hello Sanjay sir, Surely I will try to help you with this.. in rameshwaram, kanyakumari mudurai if you you want to roam in budget, then there also just like Pondy, hire a bike or scooty for 400 to 500 rupees per day. No. In kanyakumari also there is no such tour bus. But you can reach upto some places in the local buses or share autos and other vehicles from center of the city.. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Aap toh pondicherry bohot bar visit ki ho..toh please thoda suggestion dijiye ki July last week yea August 1st week me weather bohot jyada kharab hota hai kya? Heavy rainfall hota hai kya?
Hello Nipa, As I remember the beginning of July is ok, it drizzle sometimes and sometimes it's dry. But after mid July the rain is quite often. And if you ask me about August, then i am sure you will get good rainfall. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Within pondicherry you want some spots or generally you are telling some places in south Indian? I can suggest you to visit Coutralam in August if you are crazy about waterfalls and such natural ambience. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Neha, You have public buses all over the Pondicherry area. You have autos, and even app based cab services too. So you will not face any problem if you don't want to go for bike rental. Thank you 😊👍
HI I want to know do we have a Budget (lessthen 5k per day) Beach Access Hut / cottage rustic look in pondichery for 2-3 days...possibly have activity also if possible...like i seen one in samarpan...
In a range of 5k per day you will easily get a beach view stay in Pondy. There are many options. You can check even Raddission hotels. Sometime in deal, you may get it for 5 to 6k per night. Thank you 😊👍
I will not say May month will be a bad idea, but the only thing is that it will be a bit hot in the afternoon during these months. So plan for some botanical garden or park or shopping and other things visit in the afternoon and go to beaches only in the morning or evening or late afternoon. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Thank you very much Sharma ji for liking the video.. Please feel free to reply back in case of any further information required about Pondy trip. Happy to help you. Thank you once again 🙂👍🏼
Hello Jyoti, welcome to Travel Yatra.!! surely will try to help you in this.. Take a scooty on rent and First you can visit Auroville and serinety beach. Then go to rock beach area and spend some time and see nearby churches and temple. Then in the evening spend some time in resto cafes of French colony and feel the French vibes. That's i feel the best you can do in just one day. Also check the full video and you can modify things as per your preference. For any further clarification please feel free to reply back. Thank you once again
Hello Rinku, Almost all beaches in Pondy are best and you can stay as per your choice. But in my opinion you can stay close to Rock beach or Promenade Beach area, because its the center location of the city and everything is easily accessible from there. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Regarding Budget, for two person consider two wheeler rent + petrol for around 500 rupees per day. Hotel cost around 1000 rupees per day for two person. Remaining is food and some other additional charges. That's it. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Akshay, In my opinion you check for the following resorts and proceed as per the review and pricing on your check-in dates:- 1. Ganesh Residency Resort 2. Lamel Cove Beach Resort 3. PV resort Auro beach 4. Villa Du Ocean 5. Ecotiva ----- Hope this info will help you. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi thanks for your guidance. Just want to know about traffic rules. Is there any restriction for two wheelers rider. Means 2 adult and 2 child allowed at Pondicherry on a two wheeler? Rental bike owner allowed for the same ?
If your kids are under 5 to 6 years, then fine, or else triple ride is generally not allowed anywhere, and the same rule applies in Pondicherry also. So you have to deal with it.. Thank you 😊👍🏼
By night market you mean to say for shopping and all or for food? For shopping there is no such market or Street in Pondy which is open at night. Almost everything closes there by 9 to 10pm. But if you want food, then there are many restaurants in and around Pondy, which serves food til night 2 to 3pm also. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Aafrin, Actually the piece of small water body which is cutting Eden & Paradise beach, is basically the connection of backwater and the sea. But this connection is not always there. Only when there is continuously heavy rain, during that time (in monsoon time) you may see this water body connection due to high water level. Or else generally it's dry and you can walk from there and go from Eden to Paradise beach very easily. Hope this solves your query. And thanks once again Aafrin..🙂👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog i am planning my itinerary with a less 11 months old baby! And i can swear by your vdo! Thank you so much for sharing the details and for answering my query! This is my first travel with my first baby and watching your vdo gave me a little confidence! Thank you again!
Ohhh... 11 months..🙂👍 All the best for your first travel (as a family)🤗 Not as a couple 😉 Now you will feel the difference between how you both travelled till now and how you are going to travel hereafter...☺️ Just see that in September or October you may get slight drizzling rain now and then.. so just keep your baby safe from monsoon rain.. All the best and enjoy your trip ✌️🙂👍
Its located towards a little south of Pondy, and having a small fishing harbour view point also , but not so popular. Here you can visit Fishing harbour complex mainly for different variety of fishes and also to buy them. Thank you 🙂👍🏼
Oh ok Nagendra ji, Actually these pondicherry videos were prepared last year during my initial days, when I opened the channel very newly.☺️ So everything made without any much editing experience 😆. Now learning things slowly slowly. So please check my latest videos also. There I have tried to manage the background music in a balancing way. And thank you very much for mentioning the sound related problem in this video 🙂👍🏼
Dear TY, I have a question. Is there any local shared auto facility available inside Pondy? Here in north India many towns and cities have autos running on main roads of the town. Different people keep getting in and out of auto and fair is very cheap. We also have e- rickshaw. I have to spend only a day at Pondicherry, majority of my time I will spend at ashram. Also my riding skills are not so good.
Hi Kanupriya, Thanks for your query. It's indeed a good query which many viewers may want to know. In Pondicherry you will not get battery operated e-rickshaw like Delhi and other places, but yes you will get normal diesel operated share autos and local buses also. But these shared vehicles connects only main places like from Bus depot to station or from any other main area (like Indra Gandhi circle) to another busy junction. And the Aurobindo Ashram is located at one corner, so till there I don't think you will get any share autos. So if you don't want to rent a bike, then you may have to hire a auto or use ola service for the same. Or you can ask at your hotel reception. They can guide you better as per your hotel location and distance between you hotel & ashram. Hope this solves your query. Please comment in case of any further clarification. Thank you once again Kanupriya..😊👍🏼
You are looking for a budget stay near Pondy beach area or a resort type property? Mostly you will get resort near the beaches and it may cost approximately 3k to 4k per couple for one night stay. Thank you 😊👍
Just mix and match things... And check off those one or two places which you can neglect. Then itinerary will be sorted for your two days Pondy trip. Thank you 😊👍
On first day first half visit Auroville and then in the second half explore french town area and rock beach and Gandhi beach area. 2nd day morning visit a church and then go to paradise or chinnaveerapattinam beach. And then in the evening do some shopping or visit some good cafe/resto bar with live music and all... Hope this will work for you. Thank you 😊👍🏼
You mean to say you need 12 cars in Pondicherry for sightseeing? Then you need to contact any travel agent or some rental agency can also arrange it for you but you have to inform them in advance. Thank you 😊👍
Ok, as per your plan what are the things you decided for visit? As per my opinion one day in Mahabalipuram, one day in Kanchipuram, 3 days in Pondicherry and the remaining days in Chennai will be a better option for your trip plan.
