Thank you for the video! Unfortunately the empty buildings are not due to a lack of local or foreign investors, but the bureaucracy regarding redevelopment. What can be accomplished within 2 years in Canada can take 3, 4 or 5 times longer, unfortunately. Regardless, it is still my "go to" place! Love the Acores! The pace and culture is good for the soul...

Uma triste Ponta Delgada; desgovernada sem piedade para com os comerciantes, comercio geral , restauração etc. Imóveis abandonados; com bastante falta de acomodação certamente não há vida na nossa cidade, ruas destruídas para turistas verem, e agora a fazerem também de esplanada de restaurantes; mas clientes " moscas " Inicio de uma cidade fantasma. É o progresso de ideologias com a mania do poder. What a shame! Thank you Claudio for this video. God Bless Ponta Delgada.
