I love how you installed the control box on the right side rail. I have a left side control and hate it. Was trying to figure out how to "flip" it and not buy a new box. Now I know how I'll fix it!
Just finished watching the series so far. Enjoyed it! If you feel appropriate maybe a idea of your investment once you're done would be nice. Thanks for sharing your project!
May I ask how much was the total to finish the boat? You make it look so easy and I'm just recently interested in the pontoon but dont want to spend a fortune.
About $7000 for the boat itself. I got a brand new trailer at $3000. The fencing was the biggest expense. You're far better if you refinish your existing fence.
@@averagediyguy2503 yeah seems strong enough. Had an old boat mechanic telling me it needed it . He's just not familiar with these newer consoles. Thanks for your input.
Garagezilla One more question for you..... Where did you the alum tube you used to mount your shifter? I’d like to replicate that type of mounting and I can’t find that tubing (with the rounded outer edge). I’m re-using my fencing otherwise I’d just cut a chunk out of there. Suggestions? Thx
