Summary: Octavia is looking for a new home in Ponyville and decides to check out Vinyl's available space. Of course, she would happen to come to town right when a major storm's about to hit, and that storm would drop a whole tree on Vinyl's home. Seeing their situation, Fluttershy kindly offers them shelter. That might not have been the best solution. Can Fluttershy help these two musicians get along, or is a new storm about to form inside her cottage?

Yeah same. I love hearing people give Vinyl a voice. But it's nice keeping Vinyl silent like in the show.

I kinda like the "Vinyl Scratch/DJ-Pon3 is deaf and/or mute" fanon. It gives another layer as to why Vinyl likes dubstep and the like. Generally, deaf people like heavy metal, techno, dubstep, and other loud music with a lot of bass in it. It's because they can feel it in their chest. Stand near a large bass speaker at a concert or club and you'll know what I'm talking about (Alternatively, drive around town and you'll at some point be at a stop light next to some obnoxious ass hat that put in aftermarket bass, listen to the windows on that car rattle as they blast music at full volume (the amount of those ass hats vary by town, and how often you cross paths with them varies by where they live and their job (one thing I don't miss about my old apartment)))

Honestly during the musical accompaniment portion of the video I can't help but think back to the 100th episode and vinyl and Octavia's sadly way too short scene and how Octavia showed a little bit of frustration with vinyl but that was mainly because she had the wrong accompaniment before the girls finally started to get on the same page

Fluttershy has a point about them not being able to stay in Rainbow Dash's cloud home, for one thing the only other pony tribe that can walk on clouds is a alicorn. Hairy is a interesting name for a bear. I love how chill and laid back Vinyl is, I wish there was a episode in the show all about her, sure she had a small story in Slice of Life but she's one of my few favorite background characters.

You know, I wrote a fanfiction similar to this one. Vinyl and Octavia being forced to live under the same roof. Of course this was before I knew that they were already flatmates, or that Vinyl was mute. Also, this one didn't have Fluttershy in it. At least not as a major character.

I am wondering the same thing as Fluttershy, in most stories Vinyl talks the same as anypony else but in most of them she's a vampire which is why is she's always wearing shades but In this story she doesn't talk just like in the show but Octavia is the only one who can understand her, why is that?
