Excellent videos!! You mentioned that you use chlorine tablets to maintain the chlorine level throughout the week, so it's necessary to chlorinate the pool weekly. My question is, how much chlorine (ppm) should you add to the pool to last the entire week before using the stabilizing chlorine tablets?
If you have a New Pool new pool liner, anytime where the water is being replaced, you have to shock the pool with liquid or granular chlorine and then you add chlorine tablets and that will maintain it. It’s going to depend on the size of your pool of how many chlorine tablets she’ll need to maintain, a three-part per million chlorine level I do recommend shocking your pool every two weeks unless it’s a salt pool.

I would give a thorough shocking to the pool may be more than you normally would do. Also making sure that you have enough chlorine tablets right now with the temperature still being cool the chlorine tablets do not like to break down properly and just remember you have a Chlorine demand if that demand is not met, then it will be zeroed out. So until the chlorine tablets break down at the proper rate, you need to be using liquid or a granular chlorine in combination with the tablets.

I know that we would lose our 3-5ppm of recommended chlorine within a week in summer Also, do you still use no mor problems on some pools? I’ve been reading where pool guys use a little sodium bromide each week to keep reserve. So I started considering it. Thought it might be the ‘secret sauce’
So the chlorine tablets have have stabilizer in them, which will keep the stabilizer levels good without stabilizer, the sun will burn up the chlorine usually by the end of the day
