Really looking forward to this, I actually stopped playing this on flatscreen after I bought it because I heard the devs were interested in adding VR support. So glad they did!
Immersive touches are essential here.. please let the hands interact/ splash in the water etc. The feet should be bare also. Like the slapping of bare feet as you walk. Rather than high heels lol
@@slothsarecoolexactly this. Body rigs are usually too bulky or get in the way without full body tracking. When you can’t bend or move the body rig, it just gets in the way
Working first hand at a VR studio where we doubled down on no floating hands, the amount of people REQUESTING floating hands would blow your mind. I feel like it really does still have a place in VR, and if the core game is great itself, it really doesn't matter THAT much. Unless you are using your arms and legs a lot like in Green Hell VR where each ligament needs to be cared for.
Floating VR Hands just WORK. They match exactly where your controllers are. Full Body IK Systems are just calculating where your arms “maybe” are with very limited data, Most VR Games with Full Body are just jank as shit, i think the only decent ones are Boneworks/Bonelab
I literally don't get it. Maybe playing it in the bath might help? 😅. Need some water in the water slide maybe? I'll stick to real world pools. We're living in the age of VR tech demos. One day.....
