It's not my intent to play Devil's Advocate, yet is safety a concern? The technology is exciting . . . but if one is driving down a road with the AR glasses on, how does imagery and possibly a few false-positives become a distraction? I might lack a good understanding of how the glasses operate.

Love him or hate him, Mark is the guy pushing boundaries for VR / AR. And I'm here for it. For the Orion Glasses, I'm hoping this can be at a consumer friendly price cause I'm sold! 😅
Can't think of a worst possible person to invent a device like this. He doesn't give a crap about 'offering users an experience'. We are literally Meta's product.
The future is now. Smartphones will be history. Glasses and AI are the next big thing. When these are released it will be 2007 all over again like when the first iPhone was released.
This is an order of magnitude better than the Apple VR goggles and it's simply because of form factor. You can still look people in the eyes when you are talking to them. It's very important. You can't lose the human connection with your technology or we will go onto a dark timeline. not good. Make the tech bring us together as humans. Thanks zuck.
