I know Christine's voice sounds more pure that Carlotta's, but I do like Carlotta's performance... At least until the Phantom ruined it. Wait... Check that, I burst out laughing when she started croaking like a toad.

They did an INCREDIBLE job capturing the alluring darkness, spirit, and beauty of the Broadway musical. The ONLY film that has ever been capable of doing so. I have seen the play twice and this is the only movie I can stand to watch to bring me to that same feeling the real show gives me. Bravo!
