Why do we never see a movie about a queen , princess, or rich woman who falls in love with a homeless man or just a poor man. Because even writers know that is impossible. Women will never marry down, just up.
There have been very few TV movies and films like that, but usually, the guy is at least middle class and still very handsome. Women do marry down if they want "the power" in a relationship. Look at who Julia Roberts and some women rock stars have latched onto.
