While I sympathize with your addiction issue, I can’t help but think back at how awful and public you made Whitney’s addiction issues. Pain meds do not make you act like that! She’s high on multiple drugs! Hope your getting the help you need.
Yeah, being very familiar with drugs and pills personally… the road I’ve been down, those I’ve associated with and observed, and having come out the other end and now work in nursing and around patients prescribed all types of medications… benzos have this one of a kind symptom with those who abuse it, especially. And it’s the slurring and speaking so slowly that it’s like watching a video playback in slow mode. It’s got a distinct way and sound, and one of the first things I suspected with Wendy. Not just in this video but some episodes going back 2-3 years before she left. I remember some worse than others… a few sound like she took a xanie bar beforehand. It may not even be prescribed……. to her. I wonder what all her team ever had to do to get her “fit” for stage and to carry the show. Especially if she ever came in speeding. Extra amped up. Everyone’s job is to get Wendy out and ready to host a show. They protected her by ignoring the problem and covering it up… I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept benzos on hand to mellow her out in case they felt they needed to counteract it. But she’s also been dealt a lot those few years and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was seeing a therapist originally… a doctor for meds… and whatever they prescribed during that patch of her life. Anxiety meds is definitely a possibility. It would explain why she sounded xanied out on several occasions that I can recall. Other times she was speedy. But she showed both all in one episode oftentimes, too! It’s clear she was struggling and falling apart. It’s so dang sad regardless. She’s human. This is stuff we can relate and sympathize with. Even if we can’t her fame and wealth.. the success she achieved… the emotional and real life experiences and emotions.. loss and betrayal, deception and despair… that’s ultimately what overcame her and wealth fame and fortune disappeared almost as quickly. But of course… this isn’t the end. There’s still hope and we all want to see her find her way back toward whatever makes her happy. She’s nearly 60 almost and dealing with all this 😬
@@keishlafernandez2161 several or really strong ones would cause drooping eyelids, tired looking, maybe slowed speech or slurred. but this is mispronouncing words and not finding right words, which is not usually symptom of opiates. looks more like some type of amphetamine or something, idk
I'm worried about Wendy!. Concerned ~ not judging at all. Just hope and pray she has a good medical team behind her as there is really something happening here! I too have thyroid disease and know just how complicated it can make your life and contribute to other issues going on. It is an autoimmune disease and often exacerbates other issues that could be brewing. We take medication that complicates things and some of those could be contributing to what we are witnessing. I know she is a trouper and her tenacity keeps her showing up for her show and life each day. But ~ enough, please take care of yourself and what is going on. We need you Wendy, and if you don't either tell us if something is going on or get it diagnosed then you can't be there for us or you.
Wendy almost sounds like someone who has had either a light to severe stroke on this clip. Regardless of what her problem really is, the big picture is there is a problem somewhere looming over her life. It's clear that she's trying to power through whatever it is. But sooner or later she's going to meltdown because a person can only paint a picture perfect public image of themselves but for so long, and then they finally crumble before the public eye like a stale cookie. I don't get glory out of Wendy's tribulations however sometimes you have to watch how you put your mouth on other people's problems and misery's because sometimes that very kinda thing can and will come back to haunt you in the long haul of life.
Wendy has been "faking it" for a long time. She even try to paint the picture that she is just as normal as most people, but that is a hard job to do when you make that much money and the IRS is steady looking over your shoulder. A lot of what she does is simply a play on her audience for continued support. I never liked it with one of her famous replies, "you are my people." Have you noticed that she is continuous "full of attitude and she is always in "I dare you attack mode" when someone comments about her. Her show has run its course, "bye Felicia."
Poor Wendy. She has some legitimate health problem that may or may not be related to the Graves. ( Something seems to be affecting her neurologically) #1. She has had poor balance for the last couple years but it has gotten worse in the last year. She even had to stop wearing heels because it was so bad. Most recently she couldn't stand without assistance. She no longer walked out for her intro and had a stand to lean on during Ask Wendy #2. When she had to take that first noticeable hiatus from the show she had Dr Oz on to talk about Graves disease. At that time she said her husband was concerned about her being angry at everyone( both him and the son-Kevin and Kevin Jr) and he described her as having emotional outbursts. It was so bad he called Dr Oz. #3. She had a serious medical event on live television on Halloween. She fainted but there seemed to be perhaps something neurological going on. Her speech was not just slurred. It seemed the words she read on the teleprompter and in her brain were not the same words that came out of her mouth and then She wasn't able to speak at all. ( Notice she didn't even scream out) She reached for head.( not her heart nor chest) but her head. When she returned from break she was speaking normally( with that same costume on btw) #4. The episode when she says she was under the influence of pain medication which caused her words slurring ( yet again), she didn't seem high. She did have " pain pill tongue" ( it sounds like a numb tongue kinda speech), but her confusing speech is not new. She seemed off...Again some of her words did not match up which seemed like a stutter but I believe it was more of the same mismatch in the words she was thinking versus the words she spoke..Also her left hand was shaky during Hot Topics and her legs shaky during the Lox interview. She said herself she was exhausted. She looked frail. Also I think her " fracture" may be due to yet another fall. Her health is getting worse and is the reason she hasn't returned. Either Wendy has a more grim diagnosis that she is unwilling to share with anyone publicly , or her doctors haven't figured out what's wrong with her yet. Not to say any rumors about her husband are false. They are probably all true but his alleged affair seems like the least of her problems. Wendy is very concerned about being a strong woman and has spent her entire career to be careful not to appear weak. She guards her image more so than her husband's. She already outed him as a cheater in her book. I think she is only letting the rumors swirl about him because 1. They're probably true, and 2. She would rather have the focus on him rather than people realizing her health is way more fragile than she's letting on. Her show involves her sitting and talking..............sitting down and talking. A woman who before all this never missed a show has taken time off because her health is preventing her from. * sitting and talking*. Seems to indicate someone very very sick. I'll be praying for her
Yeah I agree she looked to be having strokes both times. The time that she fainted and she appeared to be having trouble focusing in the newer video. Her garbled words may also be indicative of a stroke, she may have also suffered some brain damage from a previous one and we are just now seeing it.
LATOYA MCINTOSH Your assessment is spot on. I've suspected all along that Wendy has Multiple Sclerosis. I never believed she had Graves Disease. MS relapses are bought on by stress. When she struggled to walk out last season, even in flat shoes, and needed the podium to not fall over, I thought "Wendy has MS". Doctors have to rule out not having had a stroke before diagnosis. MS and strokes can affect one's mobility. When I saw Wendy not walking, with her arm in a sling, and slurring words, I thought "this is another relapse that has affected her right side, mobility, and speech (cognitive)". Definitely neurological, and beyond Graves Disease.
I haven't watched her regularly in a long time. But knowing what I know about how she presents herself when she usually does a show (when feeling normal), it's painfully obvious how she struggled through this. She was highly uncomfortable because even she knew she "wasn't herself". If any of the rumors are true regarding what's really going on with her behind the scenes, I just hope she gets the help she desperately needs. I'll just leave it at that...
Yes, and wouldn't you know it, she now is in a sober house and recovering after a so called 15 years of sobriety. I doubt she even was sober that long. I've seen other signs that she just may be snorting/smoking crack/cocaine on other episodes. And also she was gone for what her co hosts said was complications of her Graves Disease. Then she finally comes out and tells us about being in a half way/sober house. I do believe she was in heavy duty sobriety while she was gone. She was about to be outed, and that's why she told the world on her own stage. I do wish she never goes back to using, especially at her age!! I'm close to 10 years younger than she is, I was never into heavy drugs. I could never imagine myself or any of my friends my age doing any type of heavy drug use at our age. And how did this effect her Graves Disease could have been more than just serious. I am borderline Graves/Hyperthyroidism and I also have many other medical issues. I COULD NOT even imagine doing any recreational drugs AT ALL!! Just crazy! To say the least...

I knew there was something else going on I posted a comment last night about her drug use and this morning she just revealed she is living in a sober house for what drugs im not sure. I would be on drugs too married to the mad man.
Funny because I entertained that idea as well but I’ll be perfectly honest when I say that I believe she has severe brain damage brought on by one or several strokes. She hasn’t come back, and I believe this is why. All speculation obviously.

I hate to say it but this is proof that if someone ever did u wrong in any kind of way, dont even WORRY ab it. I don’t care what anyone says, she is on drugs, and it’s not painkillers. She have also lost a lot of weight. The body can only take so much before it starts shutting down. If it was pain killers she would have lazy eyes, her eyes is huge, almost coming out of her eye sockets...scary...crazy eyes....someone needs to take her to a rehab and be honest with her, no excuses.
