Yeah, it’s really like nothing else. The style needs to be adapted by filmmakers, because it lets you use full setpieces without worrying about viewer distractions.
@@pinpanicaille| Nah, if I had to guess, he was trying to set up black bars to plan a cinematic shot, and realized he could play with them. No filmmaker has really tried it before because the bars aren't usually IN the scene, that was just a necessary workaround due to using such an old and janky engine.
Lyrics for this because why not: Lie down, baby, arch your back now Maybe you can help me get what I want And curve your little spine and tell me that you're mine It's all about the game and what you flaunt Yeah, I know that there's no pleasing you When you know that you're not teasing me She's an absolute terror for absolute territory
the music fits this too well. "Maybe you can help me get what i want!" fits that they are helping each other to find the anime girls and the theme of the song is all the heavies want too, *_thighs_*
I love how like all anime Ops, it tells the general story of the video and some foreshadowing, like the first frames the Heavy's show that they are weebs by posing, how they literally curbstomped the guards in the last video, as seen by them beating them all into a literally bridge to get into Area 51, BLU Heavy's Sniper rifle from his debut video on ceno0's channel, Sol-dier's appearance, and the cracked lens on BLU Heavy as it pans out and they punch the camera, foreshadowing the punch he gives Sol-dier later
whats funny is that the term "POOTIS" is from heavys line saying "put dispenser here" and it sounds like "poot dispenser heere" and its cut at "poot dis-" but dont mind me nerding out here
This and brooding ninja highschool parkour scout were my favorites as a kid. I used to beg my mom to buy me the CDs and id watch them on repeat every night
For stuff that's animated like this I'd recommend anything made by studio trigger (kill la kill, darling in the franxx, cyberpunk edgerunners, gurren lagann (technically not by trigger but made by the same animators))
@@cobalt3820 I mean, there’s a literally multiple gurren lagann references in pootis engage extreme, so I’m guessing some of the animation style was inspired by trigger
I finally just realized that this gives me so much nostalgia because it’s very similar to the animated IRON MAN opening. Used to love that show as a kid.
i have rewatched this a few times and now my whole main page of youtube is in these weird ass simp animations or shit anyways worth it cuz this opening is best shit ever made
Pootis engage is about 2 heavies fighting for anime tiddies and thighs, and this song fits perfectly. a song thats about Skirts, socks, thigh skin and a dream.
Listen. Maybe it's because of the bangin' song playing in the intro. Maybe it's because of the AMAZING animation and synchronisation of the audio and visuals. Maybe I'm just biased towards men from my Motherland. But I am begging you to just HEAR ME OUT for ONE SECOND on red Heavy doing that little gesture at "Tell me that you're mine", like... Hello? Sir? Do you like guys? Please? Give me a chance? Never in my life have I expected to be feeling something for Heavy from Team Fortress 2.
