Exactly. It was running live. The publicum on spot saw it on the screens. Of course, those were not holograms so looking at the stage directly wouldn't do anything.
they are not holograms it's AR. however it is done live not after, people at the venue would see the animated characters on the jumbo-trons on the left and right.
The AR was beautiful and also in real time, the audience could see it on the screen. But 1 unique thing was that they had their reflections and shadows on the stage below them. Check it.
The audience could actually see them on the screens at the events bc the animations weren’t CGI, but AR (augmented reality) p.s. only half of the group was part of a kpop group. The other two (white) girls were solo American artists.
It wasn't added before, it was animated previously and by augmented reality inserted live. In other words, every one could see the animation watching with their phones by an augmented reality app.
Those are two different things. Worlds 2017 used Psuedo-Hologram by projecting them on a transparent screen that covers the stage. This one is Full Real Time Augmented Reality where you can only see the characters on screen but not on the stage itself.
Actually all League of legends stuff on youtube is good. Apart from champion spotlights. The "What is League of Legends Told by..." are really good. Nevercake did the best one
It is AR (Augmented Reality), but it is real time. They used special cameras to project the characters, you can see it in the screens at the back. There are some audience videos and you can see the cameraman on the stage. It is like what was used in Pokemon GO!.
@@ahriisnotakitsune varus is not gay, varus is a darkin that consumed two gay guys but he is like kayn's red form or aatrox the gay guys are pretty much dead.
The animated characters you see in this video aren't VR, but AR; the audience had special glasses to be able to see them live. Watch "Worlds Collide: The Final" from 2015 League Worlds featurette
That the audience had what...? Where did you read that? I haven't read anything like that anywhere. If they had AR glasses (which doesn't exist at this time for what I know), what is the point to put the AR too in the big screens of behind?
@@Scorpin7 I know this comment is a year old but we had AR glasses for years now. From what I know people were able to watch it through a mobile app using the camera...
@@DarkThirst As I know, is not the same a mobile than glasses... and you need one of them for each spectator in the stadium, and syncronize them all to see the same thing in the same exact position... As I know, there is no glasses with that technology right know, and as Dominik W. said, they didn't use anything like that in this case either.
Notification squad! Excited to see your guys reaction to this :D Edit: the characters were there for the live performance, they used AR technology (augmented reality), we watched this live. If you look at the left and right screens in the back, you can see that they were on stage live.
Check the 2017 opening. Same augumented reality. And it's happening live but only we can see it. The people that are there can't. But they have 2 more panels where they show what's happening for the people there. You can see that they have a lot of cameras in their spot. The timing is really important to do this, not only for the cameramans but also for the real artists so that they can "interact" with them.
those "holograms" were actually implemented with Augmented Reality (AR), they weren't put after the recording but during the ceremony, and only people watching the stream can see them beside the live audience seeing them in the big screens on stage
Watch Legends never die live performance by Against the Current, same technology last year at worlds. They got more popular after league of legends song. Jaira Burns and Madison Beer are now making albums I think so. They are Americans. 2 korean girls from k-pop group g-idle is also doing great k-pop songs.
It was live, people watching from home (on computers and tablets) can see the animated girls but the crowd can't, they did something similar with augmented reality last year where a large dragon appeared on the stadium!
It wasn't put in post production, it was augmented reality, the people actually there could see them on the screens above the stage but people watching from home could see them on the stage...works much like Pokémon Go
they actually didnt put it in after... it was happening live.. its also Augmented reality.. the crowd couldnt see it but everyone who was watching online could Also can we get a Varus as we fall Reaction.. its another good music video from riot showing off how one of the characters came into existence
The group, K/DA(this is they name), is how Riot is promoting League of Legends’ new line of character cosmetics for four champions: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa. Each champion was given a special backstory that goes with their skins, as well as a real-life counterpart during the opening ceremony at Worlds. According to the League of Legends website, Ahri and Evelynn are the lead vocalists, Kai’Sa is the main dancer and Akali is the rapper.
yeah people saw this live, i saw this live, but you could see only on the internet, the people on the concert itself could only see them on the screens edit: no the groupd name is K/DA and it's said K.D.A. the song is POP/STARS
It was done live with augmented reality. People could see it on stream, in the station on the big screens and watch it on stage with special glasses given out.
This was all live... The crowd could see them on the screen and if they had AR glasses they would see. but on the live stream the animated girls were there.
It was live rendered AR, the crowd could see the characters only on the big screen And the singers arent a k-pop group, at least not all 4 of them, it's just a collaboration for the song
2 of the korean members are from (g)i-dle and the other ones are solo artists from another country they combined them and made this group for this performance
"I've never seen anything like that", they need to see the elder drake. The name of the group is K/DA thought, it stands for "kills, deaths, assists", and it's the way you check your score in the game. The name of the song is Pop star.
its augmented reality. (it basiclu allow them to put that characters in real time in steamed video :) its next best thing to real hologram. basicly only people watching scene cant see it everyone watching it live at home could :)
It's not implemented afterwards. It's augmented reality. Like you know how in Pokemon go the Pokemon appear to be present in the surroundings in real time? It's like that.
You guys should see Legends Never Die performed live during the 2017 World Championship at Beijing! That is where they used the 1st AR (Augmented Reality) of one of game's Jungle Monsters. (A little teaser but I think the comment section already spoiled it haha) But seriously its so cool that when I 1'st watched it, it made me cry.
Great reaction guys! If you go back to 2:17 of your video & look at the very tip of the stage, nearest the bottom of the screen, you will see two guys, 1 holding a camera. These 2 guys are the team holding the camera that does the work with the animated characters. So, this is happening live during the performance, not after the performance. There is a live fan cam recording so you can see a little bit further how this all came together: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-efXXTw5nxy8.html Great video though guys!
if you're looking for league cinematics to react to i would recommend: 1. As We Fall 2. Ryze: Call of Power 3. Ekko: Seconds 4. Xayah and Rakan: Wild Magic 5. The Climb 6. Warwick: The Wrath of Zaun And there's a lot more :D
The audience wear special goggles or glasses that let them see the "holograms". I think it's called augmented reality? It's been used for some time now like when Hatsune Miku (a Vocaloid) has a concert.
Watch "the curse of the sad mummy" , please . Jane is gonna bawl out. It's also about League of Legends. About a character named Amumu who is an orphan and is cursed with loneliness..
Though League of Legends cinematic don't have to be watched in any order, it would still be best for you guys to react to the next few cinematics as follows. Ekko: Seconds - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FtEpp9lkfxA.html Taliyah: Homecoming - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H1nRIX-qvbo.html The Climb - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3Eu7NzzHC84.html The Climb is a very cool cinematic, but it would be nice for you to get familiar with some of the characters that appear in that one before you watch it.
Ahmm, notice the screen on the back, and fyi, the video you watched, it was LIVE. It wasn't scripted. And it's not hologram, that's what you call AR(augmented reality), you know, similar to SWORD ART ONLINE.
