Best known as the lead vocalist for the band ‘Korn’, Jonathan Davis speaks about his early musical inspirations, his love for the haunting and macabre, and even some insight into an episode of ‘South Park’. #Funko #FunTV
this is the most surreal thing ever and at the same time the most satisfying ... how someone that had been through so much hearbreaking stuff can be at peace of some sorts
@@Bandzior1337 i didn't come to this conclusion on my own. The other guys in Korn specifically said Jonathan is finally happy for once in his life during interviews for the Requiem album. I don't think you understand how tumultuous his life has been. His fellow band members used to always say that he had the worst luck and bad things would always happen to him. Also his ex wife that passed away had some serious mental problems and consistently created havoc in his life.
@@therapturedmichelle His relationship with Deven was very tumultuous. She was a hard-core drug addict. She was abusive toward him. Beyond that, the other members of Korn would never say what exactly Jon went through. They just said he had "the worst luck" and bad things would always happen to him.
Such an iconic musician. He has no idea how many kids he has ridden along with throughout life, helping them through the darkest points. Such a legend.
Oh no he definitely knows now a days. He’s talked a lot about it. He’s such a solid dude. I’m glad he’s able to put all the stuff he’s been through aside, stayed sober through it all. He gave us all more music and he gave his kids exactly what they needed.
it is admirable how artists are so open minded to many things and tastes, and it is curious to me that the fans of these artists are very radical at times with their tastes. Anyway, I admire JD and he has always been a great influence in my work as an artist. greetings from Colombia!
Metal Heads as a collective are some of the most open minded people, there's been a bunch of social studies on this. It's usually the Black Metallers who are the musical elitists. Considering the types of artists KoRn were all inspired by and what they're about it would surprise me to meet a KoRn fan who was only into Metal.
@@territhetankedupterrapin6592 I agree 100%. Hardcore fans of black metal can be very pompous, and that's coming from someone who _likes_ black metal. It's especially funny when the musicians themselves are usually pretty chill, fun people outside of the music, but the fans are incredibly dour.
classic metal heads are closed minded (Judas Priest, Metallica, ect -fans), they're like the linux guys, who think the more popular Microsoft(Nu-metal, so Korn) just sucks, or are sort of amateurs, weak music
@@S5Dic09 I think there is an overlap between Metallica and Judas Priest fans who listen to Korn. I would say Iron Maiden fans are more closed minded, not all of them of course.
@@laurelave118 they can fucking rock still. I'm going alone this time as my husband doesn't like the pit. He prefers seats so he can go out for beer and the bathroom. It'll be my first time in Korn's pit. Any tips? I've done Marilyn Manson's pit several times so I'm not worried about it being crazy. Just tips to stay hydrated since you can't take water in and don't want to leave your spot to go to the bathroom and get water.
If I ever met Jonathan Davis in person, I honestly would not know what my emotional or physical response would be. I would probably start by asking him if he’s into black girls and just see where that goes 😂😂😂😂😂
Seeing Korn in concert back in the days was one of the best times I had when going to shows with my friend. When Jonathan says ARE YOU READY!!! The mosh pits broke out like crazy! Amazing times! Great interview!!
I have been a fan of Korn since 94' and like all their fans.. Have been a BIG part of my life when it comes to music.. I have been thru hard times, sad times, and happy times listening to the band.. Jonathan has So much Emotion in his Vocals, and Lyrics that really brings out the Anger, & Sadness, better than I have heard any Vocalist.. JD I would have to say is my favorite vocalist.. Great video..
I will be going to see korn live again here ina couple of months I love to hear Jonathan sing live he's amazing ... I wish they would make all the band into pops
I love how the hardest most Hardcore Sound of my late 90's is driven by a geek like me, and many of us who can relate to Jonathan. Much love to you and your entire band.
I was really young when I discovered Korn and they etc me up to live the music I love today. To say that they saved my life is an understatement. Can't wait to see the Aug 28.
So glad he's clean and moving on with his life. I frekin LOVE U....We have the same age and same day of birth.... How frekin COOL is that?!?!?! AQUARIUS FTW!!!!!
Connecting with the energy from something is nothing to feel weird about. It's real and Kudos to you to able to quiet yourself to connect 💚 Wife & Mom to Musicians & Artists.
I’m a 42 year old mom of two boys and that’s exactly where my Pop is- the living room mantle! Jonathan Davis is my idol- And Korn is the best band ever.
I am one to add to the list of lives saved by KoRn and his music, alongside my classmates, if you catch my drift. Now I've become a teacher and it's my turn to be positive a positive influence. I'm so happy to see him just relaxed and in the moment and now I need this Funko!
Love that. First car was a brown Honda Civic. I personally drove an '81 Mazda 323, aka, the Mazdaratti. Had to warm it up with the choke out. It's easy to see why I love the guy so much. The JD Funko keeps me company when I'm out bush bashing alone, gives me encouragement when I'm climbing up steep terrain and contemplating packing up camp.
Funko as much as I doubt y’all will see this. I’m begging y’all to make Motionless In White pops. I’d love to see all of the guys but Chris for sure 🤘🏻
✨🎀I met husband at a music festival, but during the spark of the relationship, the "I still want to be around you just a bit longer, was Korn and I sung every song they choose to perform.🎀✨I won't say how long we've been married but I will say our entire relationship so far is seven years.
Just saw them over the weekend and sadly I got so hammered I raged out like a maniac and don’t remember anything. I feel like I got in a car wreck. KoЯn for life🤘🏻
My older sister took me to see Korn in 2000 on their issues tour! .. you could actually literally feel fieldys bass shake your body ! Huge fan ever since!
