Perfect project.for my 1991 like yours and in good weather Maryland too! Thanks for posting your work! I've been mentally trying to figure a way for about a year. Your brain power works good
I love this idea. The only thing I would have done differently is to use the tongue of the trailer to make a wet bath that you step over the existing hard bottom of the existing trailer. Just make a raised door and use the existing exterior as part of the tub basin.
I just bought one to do the same thing I was so stoked to find this project, I only wish you were farther along! Do you know of anyone converting these into aliner styles?
Did you consider keeping the original roof and building sides around it? If you did, what was the deciding factor to remove it? I have a pop up I am wanting to do this to and would like to keep the roof with the ac unit.
@@danlazer8762 why I asked how much that would weigh I have a 2011 Kia Sorento with a 4 cylinder in it and it will tow about 1650 and I have a chance if I wanted to to buy the same type of camper that you have that you're redoing so I'm thinking about doing the same thing and I might try to get the camper cheaper than what he's asking for it and I look forward to seeing your videos on you building the whole unit out
