Thanks. Been looking for different ways to put that top layer in my pop-up shapes. QUICK QUESTION: What's the purpose of a cutting mat, if you only use scissors? Will I ever need one? (I just use X-acto knives against a pile of old magazines)
For this pop-up card, you don't need the cutting mat. My cutting mat just serves as my work surface. A pile of old magazines works just fine as a cutting mat substitute. Work with what you've got. Btw, I love your pink castle pop-up card.
Hello square type.. Why you stopped posting videos on your channel.. I just love ur channel.. You explain in a very easy manner.. Watching your videos are easy to understand and a fun.. Thanku so much.. But please come back soon on RU-vid..
Hi Pinky. Thank you very much for watching my videos. Although, I have a couple of ideas left, I no longer have the time to produce videos regularly. I can't promise to make another video anytime soon. But if I do have a new video, you will be notified if you hit the little bell icon next to the subscribe button. Sorry, that's the best I can hope for. Keep crafting!
The two triangle flaps underneath are glued to the fold of the card at this point in the video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hyko8o_E49E.html). Good luck.
Just start out by making a square tube then fold that cube flat. The rest is just fold down a corner of the top edge of the tube to make a triangle at a time. Keep trying. Don't overthink it. :)
