I found you following a rabbit hole myself last night. Bing watched and started my own journal. I took a Handbook for the Recently Deceased, and a Time Magazine about 1969. Today is my 50th bday. I used my Yes paste to glue some pages together and started it today!!! Thanks for the inspiration. Love your style!! AnaMaree💜🕯💜

Didn't have black gesso, so I used cobalt blue acrylic paint with a little white gesso mixed in instead. My bubble background came out terrific. And for the pop-up I used a rather creepy baby-doll face and added little orangey red devil horns. The focal point's not finished yet, but what great fun. You inspire me, LorriMarie!

I have not played with my Gelatos yet & I have had a work of bubbles on a dark background planned for about 5 yrs now that I am SO going to use mine on now! Smashing great success, yet again! Rock on! LOVE UR VIDS!!!

Have had a rockier road somehow with making the bubbles. Seem to get paint where it doesn’t belong 😉 but am persevering. Black Gesso is a great corrector when needed! Thank you for all you do:)

Lorri, what name brand brushes and sizes you use. I would love to be able to use one brush, and by the sound of your brush it is a very soft one, I can actually hear other artists brush scraping or scratching while they work and out of all your videos I have seen and by the way have tagged like and added to my playlist, in every hear yours scratch. I see this one looks Whit and I know you have mentioned a blue please let me know the brand and size and if you can link where you bought it I will click on the link and buy them. Thank you so much for opening up my eyes with your creativity I thought I was a vintage gal, but the more I watch your videos I am swaying to a different way of looking at art. Hi LorriMarie, I don’t have any Gelados yet - could I use pastels to put colour into the bubbles if I fixed them with hairspray? I’m off out in the morning to get some black gesso! Thanks for the video! Angela x

Lol I hate to do things twice!!

Ok- I am going to do this in that book I am still working on- You know The one that has glue pages. However, I wanted to work on a sewn book, which I purchased at the dollar store. I want the pop-up to be a heart, (since this book will an altered Heart book); any suggestions on the flap- I'm a bit confused. I know that I would have to make the heart with sturdy paper. Do you think the mix media art paper would work?

Hi LM-I did my bubble background and put in my pop up, but how do I now add ephemera without ruining the background with mod podge? Won’t it dissolve the Gesso?

Sorry for all of the questions...but, I have one more. Can I use Mod Podge over the top of this page? Or will it run all together with the crayons? Thank you! :)
