I like the Pope's acknowledgment that "fundamentally people are good." Imagine if we all allow our goodness to shine instead of bad the world over. Most or if not all the problems created by man will be God. On another note though is that never at one point in the interview did the Pope refer to the Bible but only to the Church's "traditions." Now this is dangerous.

You can see at every point how the questions and and answers in Italian are twisted. 11 years later they still give an impartial translation of what he said on the plane regarding a formerly gay priest. Tp paraphrase correctly he said-"If this man has discontinued this lifestyle, sincerely repented, had his sin absolved through the Sacrament of Confession, then who am I to judge his sincerity. It is between him and God." That's a far different answer than "Who am I to Judge". This is how the media lies. Notice he corrected her about same sex unions/blessings also.
