Yesterday I attended the birthday party of my friend's one-year-old son, and my friend had a birthday party, at the time I was attending the thanksgiving service. the guests prayed and praised glorifying the name of God, and they glorified the name of Jesus, then suddenly I thought, and I spoke in my heart, the people praised and glorified the name of God but I am here but they do not know who I am, then sadness arose in my heart, I raised my head and looked at the sky then I prayed and talked to God, I looked at the sky, suddenly in the sky the face of Jesus appeared, the more prominent head crowned with thorns, and the body of Jesus being crucified on the sky, and after 5 minutes I saw the face of Mother Mary suddenly appear, after 5 minutes Mother Mary turned into a white sheep, then I stared straight ahead while saying a prayer to God. Suddenly I felt sad and cried, when I cried the shapely shadow disappeared and the cloud became pure white, then it occurred to me that, I have two beings in one authority, I can be a father and also a mother, that is Jesus and Mary .

St. John Paul the II is my favourite Pope. I was blessed to see him as an 8 year old when he came to India on his Papal visit. That was my first experience seeing a Pope so close. Since he was a Pope for most of my growing years, he was an inspiration indeed. So wonderful that we him as a Saint now to intercede and pray to. Thank you Fr. Chris for this beautiful episode.

Thank you Father Chris for this episode. His larger-than-life presence on the world stage Brought so many graces and so much awareness to all the twentysomethings of that time period. Saint John Paul II was a surprise pope on many levels. After Pope Paul VI died (on my birthday if I remember Aug 6, 1978) A new holy father was elected He chose the name Pope John Paul. The world was shocked when he died less than two months into his papacy. Then it was back to the Sistine Chapel for the conclave where they elected Pope John Paul II. I was hardly “involved” in my religion at the time but I remember his election sent minor shockwaves around the world, Especially in the older Italian American community. “ Chi é questo Papá da Pologna?”Admittedly I did not pay much attention until he came to Boston about a year later and I went to see him when his motorcade left the airport in the pouring rain. Thousands jammed on to Boston Common when he celebrated his first public Mass in America as The Holy Father. (I just know that you remember me waving to you 20 years later in July 1999 with my children in Saint Peter’s Square). I am so grateful to you Saint John Paul and your long papacy and for the graces you brought to my early adult years. Saint John Paul II PRAY FOR US.
