The scary thing about huggy wuggy (aside from, like, literally everything else) is the fact that it's not actually that fast at first. It's not running toward you in the hallway, it's just sort of slowly lumbering your way. But once it gets in the vents? That thing takes off like a racehorse. It's like it was designed to crawl through all the tight spaces that you thought you'd be safe in.

Huggy's design doesn't inherently scare me, It's the body movements that are super creepy.

At the very end when Poppy says "You opened my case" Was just so similar in FNAF Sister Location when Baby says "You won't die". The voices and how it's breathy and echo-y. Baby and Poppy's designs are also similar. Like for the fact they have pigtails and were made for little girls yet they were locked away. The red hair and rosy cheeks just scream Baby.

So weird question. Am I the only one who has been slowly getting more and more invested in the poppy playtime theories and the story line to the point they are obsessed and rewatching all the videos of as many channels as I can and rewatching all the videos from game theory ? 😂😂

Whoever animated Huggy's vent chase did an excellent job. The stooped posture and fast-paced, small-steps with his hands also stepping along the wall is just like how a tall person would run through a vent like that, but the addition of his hurried stomping and sound design makes it really terrifying.

Mark's realization that Huggy could in fact get in there is priceless.

Coming back after chapter 3 came out, didn’t realize the log of 1006 was the “final log” and that makes it more eerie knowing that it was made during the hour of joy (officially knowing that it was)

Absolute respect to the devs for making Huggy's movement so fluid. There was no clipping, it moved how you think a sentient sock monkey thing would move, and it's absolutely terrifying. Absolutely phenomenal game.

I love the analog horror aspect and how it's set in a 50s/60s era instead of the 80s/90s era most analog horror is in. Something about those old black and white commercials makes it creepier to me and they did phenomenal work creating the commercial. All the actors and the way it's put together really makes it seem like it did come from the past.

I swear Lixian's sound edits are more terrifying than the games jumpscare actual jumpscares.

The best part about this game is it doesn't rely on jump scares, but a genuine fear factor in the way Huggy moves through the vents, its actually scary instead of cheap.

i really appreciate just how well Huggy was animated. all of his movements felt very real and creepy. He moved the way you would exspect somthing like that to move and still being uncanny. He didnt just materialize like most jump scares and he interacted with his environment but ducking around objects in a really smooth way. 10/10 monster

Just throwing this out there: with all of the “death isn’t permanent” and that employee talking about just getting older, it feels like Playtime Co might have been transferring human consciousness into toys to try and achieve immortality. Idk, that’s just what it made me think.

Good horror isn't constant jumpscares and loud noises. Good horror is Huggy's uncanny sprint clamber through the vents. I haven't had my fight or flight response triggered like that in a very long time.

This is how a horror game should be created. No jumpscares in every minute, logical parts and of course perfect timing of scaring. The vent scene was super terrifying and the devs made this game super good. 10/10!

How can someone playing a horror game be calming ✋😭 he's so comforting!

I remember one day I was scrolling on youtube and randomly thought, "I wonder what Markiplier is all about". I've always heard of him and seen mentions of him from other RU-vidrs but I never actually sat down and watched a video from him. So I went to his channel and clicked on his most recent video. That video happened to be this one. It was my first time watching a full Markiplier video and the first time seeing any Poppy Playtime content and I absolutely loved it, both the game and the RU-vidr. I can't believe it's been a full year since then. Time flies but I'm happy to have been introduced to Markiplier because it's a great journey to be a part of.

Two things about Huggy: 1. His teeth. He has three rows, and they're pointing inward, like a shark. If you don't know, the reason sharks have that, is so that prey can't escape their mouths. 2. When Huggy is knocked off the bridge with the box, and bounces off of things, he leaves a spatter of blood behind. Which begs the question, why does he bleed? Edit: Gonna add timestamps I find for any moments y'all might use to fuel your theories, or that I referenced in the comment. 0:04 jump scare showing Huggy's teeth pretty clearly. 28:21 Huggy pretty clearly bleeding. 30:37 for "house" sequence, which honestly the whole thing could be theorized about.
