Obviously Poppy is not an alien. Poppy is a character, played by a person. Sinclair is the one telling her what to say because he is the one that created Poppy. She's just fulfilling the role of Poppy on this show to further the realism of Poppy as a character

Nah dude, do your research. I got way too into this last night and spent hours figuring this out. She's just a character, this whole innocent brain-washed cute girl is just a style. It's a look that gets people interested and it works. She and another guy had a big lawsuit about abuse allegations and copyright involving her character. There's too much there to talk about. You could easily youtube, poppy breaking character. During interviews, the videos show how it's just an act. Make sure they are the more recent ones, she held character well a few months ago but lately, things seem more reasonable

as much as I love what Titanic has created, I feel kinda disappointed that at this point Moriah still needs Titanic to tell her everything she's supposed to say... one would guess she would be so familiar with the character that she could figure out herself what to say and stuff
Watching this in 2023, we all know it's a character and the whole point of there being someone telling her what to do and etc... but, y'know, after everything it's hard to dinstinguish just how much of it is a character and how much is a reflection of what was going on behind the scenes at this point.

I wouldn't say brainwashing doesn't exist...buuuuut that being said, I think you could make the argument that a lotta hip-hop these days isn't necessarily brain-washing, but just following a formula and reinforcing that enjoyment of said music.

@@jinnykhor I do understand but that seems like Poppy's intention is to be a mystery, she obviously doesn't want to just show everyone what she really is like, and just ruin the feeling the fans have, the mystery, it makes it better, and more interesting, like if you were to have a movie spoiled, the movie wouldn't be as interesting and you would eventually get bored because you know how it ends, or what happens at that exact time
