I never heard of Popsicle Pete as a villain until now, but I remember this commercial so well from my childhood. They played it every Sunday morning when I'd be watching cartoons at my grandparents' house. I do remember thinking how annoyed I'd be if I was that last kid in the commercial, when Popsicle Pete asked him "what flavor cool are you looking for?", and before the kid even answers, he just gives him a green one (green, lime flavor was my least favorite - I'd want cherry or grape!)

I fondly remember this commercial from the last true summer before my childhood ended.
