Popstars (British TV series) Popstars was a short-lived reality music talent show that was broadcast on ITV in early 2001. It was the first UK series of the international Popstars franchise, and was billed as a documentary on the formation of a modern pop group

So disrespectful for them to criticise Warren for singing a Christian song. There are contemporary Christian songs and they were judging their voices not the song itself

I don't think it was disrespectful as such. It would have just been easier in that situation for them to judge him based on his ability to sing "current" songs rather than unique or niche songs.
