Porcellio expansus - King of Isopods 

I thought Duckies were king, but this was a compelling video! I'd love to try keeping porcellio expansus!

I really like Dairy cows. They can look so different each one. Great video.

Personally I love the porcellio werneri. They are super flat and look like little flying saucers. I also think the next in line is whatever new isopod will be coming into the hobby. I always enjoy the new ispods to check them out and try to learn as much as possible. Either way whatever any decides is their " king" is they're all very unique in their own way. Porcellio expansus are my #1 species I want to work with. So I will say they are KING

My top isopod of all time is Dairy cows. They are always out and about. They love to crawl on you and they are very prolific. Thank you Wally for all you do.

I consider Porcellio bolivari, and Porcellio haasi "high yellow" my current kings of isopods. I find the species with yellow coloring are among my favorites, but I recently got P. expansus and I can say they are very high on my list! Beautiful patterns/coloring!

I absolutely LOVE the duckies, but I think for overall, the Zebras are the front runner.

My king isopod is definitely the Hoffmannseggi! Just got a starter colony of my own :)

Armadillidium Granulatum is my king. Vibrant colors, decent activity, and larger size wins the day for me. But after your video I definitely have a new admiration for Porcellio expansus.

This video's kind of old, and I was watching another older one earlier (left a like!). You have not changed. You've grown, but not changed. You are still wholesome, engaging and creative and a wonderful person and I'm proud to be a part of the same community as you. Your videos have gotten better and you've become more refined, but who YOU are hasn't changed. Go easy.

Although I've never kept them, these isopods definitely make it high on my list of coolest isopods or the "king of isopods" on their appearance alone

personally, my "kings" of isopods would be Armadillidium Klugii Montenegro! They're my favorites out of the ones I keep!!

I think the kings are Trichorhina tomentosa ( White Drarfs ) because of their ease of care and how fast they reproduce and you can use them for food for your Micro geckos but that is just my opinion keep up the amazing work Wally

Probably my zebras. But have a new culture of Magnificus. If they get established, could compete due to size and flash. But with breeding only once a year...probably could never catch up.

These are some of the most beautiful isopods I've ever seen! I have been a fan of Porcellio Expansus for a while now, ever since I saw them on Reptiliatus' YT channel! I think that these are definitely the king of isopods for me.

I think Porcellio expansus is definitely one of the cooler Isopods. I almost pulled the trigger on a culture of them the other day..... Awesome video man.

My "king' o' 'pods" is the A.maculatum... they're such a great breeder, simple to maintain & quite a snazzy looker :) I've yet to meet a child or adult who doesn't think they're awesome!

Porcellio Bolavari have been my favorite based on colors. Then Porcellio Hassi are colored Hoffmensegi so they rank higher for me. Orange expansus is certainly royalty. Although the foreign king coming has to be the new spikey types with orange and yellow colors.

I really want some duckies but since I don’t have any I don’t think they can win my vote. The favorite of what I HAVE are the P. ornatus High Yellow.

These are very pretty. They look very much like the oceanic ones! Are there other iso's in with them? At about 05:30 bottom left corner it looks like some grayish looking ones. If so, what kind?

The Spanish/ European iso's are my favorite hands down. Bolivari bolivari is my #1, magnificus is #2, then expansus.

Personally my favorite are the zebras but I feel like im switching to dairy cow because I spend more time just watching the colony devour food.
