The most moving, transporting, and beautifully shot concert film ever made! 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 PT’s first, DVD concert release, covering songs from the album Stupid Dream, released in 1999, to Deadwing, in 2005, even a bonus, "Cymbal Song" by (Gavin Harrison) also with touring guitarist John Wesley. Throughout the show, the music was performed with a high level of musicianship, a mechanical recreation of the album, but within artistic license of a live performance, everything that was familiar and expected from the albums was present in the live show, It’s both highly accessible and moderately challenging, technically proficient but also economical in its instrumentation, PT hung together well through tempo and style changes, from song to song and within songs. Porcupine Tree's music is layered and volatile; all of this retained its integrity and energy during the performance. The multimedia presentation was used throughout the show, imagery that is familiar from album artwork and elsewhere. The presentation is a collage of images, old photographs, and artwork that shares mood with the lyrical content of Porcupine Tree's music. There is a poetic abstraction in the lyrics that is extrapolated to this imagery :)

Porcupine Tree is becoming one of fave bands. Can't listen to Tool forever! Wait... scratch that. I can do both!

Epic performance by an epic band! 🤘 I like "Anesthetize" better too, but this is absolutely fantastic also. If you love Colin's bass, you really need to check out the live version of "Hatesong." Colin really gets a chance to shine there, as do the other three members. They all really get to show off in that one, and it's amazing!

some bands are just better live !!!

I've been watching theirs and his solo live videos for years and made skyhigh expectations before went to their gig during C/C tour last year. Then reality cicked me hard in Poland, with very poor sound engineering and unbearable loud sound, literally ruining the actual music and harmonies. Later I heard that some of other gigs also had the same problem. Hopefully it won't be the last time I hear them alive
