We brought Porky home and learned a few big lessons about pigs! Porky ran away, escaped through the fence and we thought he was gone forever! 5 days later he returned!!!
Porky is a pure bred Mangalitsa boar. He will be the father to Petunias babies when he grows up!!

I didn't know you had been on you tube for 3 years! What a fun treat to find this older video. Your kids were all so little! I was holding my breath hoping you would be able to get Porky back in with his brother. Man your an amazing woman!

WOW!!! What a woman you are!!! I’m so happy you were able to get Porky safe and in the pen with his brother! What a hair raising experience!!! I was holding my breath for you the whole time! What an amazing thing you taught your daughter that day, perseverance pays off and no matter whether you are a woman or not if there is a will there is a way!! Even when a squealing pig is involved!!! God bless you and your entire family and I can just imagine how sweet that bacon will taste with tomato sandwiches when you harvest porky! 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦

I was rooting right along with Mitchell as you worked to get porky out!!! So beautiful how God gives exactly the experiences we need as children, even if we use it only a few times as adults! Love the title of this video also, the parable of the Prodigal son is one of my most cherished.

Somehow I've missed this hilarious and heartwarming video until this morning. This is one of the best! This is a reminder to us all to PRAY first when things are going wrong. It took six days, but Porky found his way home! God is good indeed!

Glad Porky came back, he was about to go feral. You all don't quarantine your new animals for the first two weeks to a month when they arrive to your farm to make sure they aren't carrying any diseases and infect your other animals?
@Ruthannzimm
@Ruthannzimm 4 года назад
Mostly because we know where they came From and have visited the farms and known their health protocol! We’d definitely quarantine if they’d come through a sale barn or unknown farm!
