“Nobody ever gets hurt…”. The irony how bad of a year 2020 ended up being for him. As of today (Nov 2021) he’s in jail awaiting trial as he has been indicted on 30 sexual-assault counts, involving 21 victims. One of them is from 2004 and the women alleges Jeremy sexually assaulted her at a party when she was 15 years old. Jeremy has denied all of the charges.

For all the bad press he’s gotten lately, Ron put me through rehab and paid for my college education after I stayed sober for year. Believe it or not, he’s got a heart

I ran into Ron Jeremy on 2nd Street in Harrisburg several times, and he was always very pleasant, friendly, intelligent, easy to talk with, and funny. It was very disheartening to learn about his charges.

I had an aortic dissection and it was so advanced, they said my chance of survival was less than 5%. I worry every single minute of every single day that it’s going to happen again, and that it will take me out this time. Comforts me that Ron had his a long time ago, and is still around.

The roommate's husband, as I recall, wrote reviews of XXX films and there was an adult film award ceremony held in Tampa that Mr. Jeremy was attending. Mr. Jeremy spent some time talking to my grandmother; she knew nothing about his vocation, but was very impressed by his intelligence and kindness. She found him to be a charming gentleman. I've been without sex and no feeling down there for 5 years. I was paralyzed in a car accident, but Truth be told I needed to sit down. I had childhood sexual trauma from 3 on and I was extremely promiscuous all of my life, and drug addicted by 15. I have 3 kids with 3 dads even, I mean- yeah. I had no other concept of life than have the sort of attitude about sex that this sad soul has. And then I go without- like it or not- and I started to see my life in a different light. God is really really good, I might not have ever realized how destroyed I was from molestation and how self destructive sex was my entire life. It's unbelievable the things the Lord revealed to me about my trauma, things I compartmentalized and made excuses for subconsciously. I had completely suppressed the memories and constantly sought pleasure of the flesh, thinking that was who I was- but it was who I thought I deserved to be. Nobody should open themselves up to that sort of mental and physical degradation, it kills you inside and it steals true joy.

I was so tempted to get his autograph but we were both just enjoying a vacation with our family’s so I left him alone. It was one of the coolest things in my life….. this was probably 94ish? I remember Ron Jeremy as a very young man back in New York. His name was all over various theater Marquis. And yes he was trained as a teacher. From a middle to upper middle class family. He's fallen a long way and not aged well. He should really have left porn and pursued other things when younger and more energetic. But now He's old and in poor health. Don't over stay your welcome as my parents would say.

I met Ron numerous times. One of my best friends lived in his building for many years. He’d hold up in the lobby for hours with papers strewn everywhere working on who knows what. And he was incredibly disheveled and an inveterate hoarder. But still came off fairly nice, though neither of us were surprised when all the charges came out against him.

He seems to have a very real and cynical view on life. You can tell sex is business to him, and to us it's not. Like skydiving: you do it enough, it may be fun, but it loses it's special qualities over time...

It seems like Ron suffers from depression and caught it at a young age and developed humour as a coping mechanism and now finds humour in everything to keep the sadness, loneliness away
