Indonesia is obsessed with banning Twitter and I think it’s the most stupidest thing we are focusing on. With Elon Musk allowing pornography to be hosted on Twitter/X, Indonesia finally has the reason it needs to ban the site once and for all.
However, I argue that the banning of Twitter will prove to be Indonesia’s downfall. It is the site where free speech is most enshrined and many people find justice through putting up their cases to go viral on Twitter. Without the site, Indonesia will go down on democracy and will have no suggestion box.

@@kusumandriyantoYou got the wrong idea of democracy. Democracy isn't about choosing the best individual to lead, it never was, it will never be. Just think back to your school days, did you choose the best person to be class leader? No, most likely it was the most POPULAR dude on class. Sometimes even the self-important person. It's rarely the person with the best leadership character who's running and chosen. Democracy is always like that. Since its inception, there were critics on democracy. Socrates and Plato had very skeptic view on the system. They believed that democracy will end up become popularity race between individuals who most of the times have no leadership characters. What do you expect from a government system in which the vote of a man who has read 1000 books has the same value to the bite of a man who can't read? As a wise-man ever said: Democracy is a government from the people, by the people, for the people.. But the people is retarded.
