Very awesome review! I had the privilege and pleasure of driving this car yesterday at the Porsche experience here in Atlanta. Well, I am 6'5 and of course I was very snug and the driver's seat, but I made it work lol. I understand that this is the entry model for sure, but it outperforms so many sports cars in the market. I had a great time driving this car and I did notice that this car does like to get sideways also. Also, you forgot to mention about the center screen how it documents the g-forces, acceleration, 0 to 60 times, and top speed. I drive an Audi S5 manual 2015 and it's rated for 333 horses, but this Porsche felt so much faster than my Audi S5. It was a great drive and thanks for this review
Nice review. Your text In the description is incorrect. It says that this car is 350 HP and 309 lb-ft torque. Those are the numbers for the 2.5 L engine which is in the S version. You did state it properly in the video. I would disagree about the turbo having to spool up, as long as you’re over 1900 RPM it engages almost immediately. And, with the PDK if you are under 1900 RPM just downshift it, it is so quick and you’re on your way. There is no lag in this car.

Good review, is it possible you could show the car standard 718 going over speed humps? how about maintenance on the leather interior to stop it getting ruined from the sun and rain(obviously when it starts to rain your putting the roof on) as in getting hard and then cracking and keeping the leather as close to the way it was when someone picks up the car and drives away. I saw a video on how you can manually open and close the roof should it fail however it seemed like a lot of work had to go in to it and some tools had to be used to do it, if you know of another way then that would also benefit in the review. Can you get a front lifter or does the PASM make the car lower and then you can raise it back to normal or does PASM leave the car at normal height and then allow you to lower by 10mm??? What seats come with the jacket hook on the back and what ones dont? Differences in seats, do they all have the hook on the back? Being on the 20Inch wheels, what was the comfort level like? You can shut the roof while driving (there is a speed limit at which you can do that just cant remember right here and now)how much of sound difference was the cabin after you put the roof up (in your opinion) PDLS how does that work on a road without lights? - still like I said good review straight to the point with everything
I "liked" the video because you had an external camera capturing the car while you were driving! Nothing is more anticlimactic than seeing car reviewers who don't use some sort of external camera.
Just a question. You look like you might be a little tight in that seat. How tall are you? I am 6'3" and have struggled in cars like the SLK, do I have a chance in the Boxter? That said, the review was great! Thanks.
Always wondering with these 718 boxsters if a flat tire situation comes what do you do ? I've never seen a video that shows that there is actually a spare tire anywhere. Is there a spare tire somewhere hidden in the front mini trunk ?
There are reviews (the car guys) that hate on the turbo lag, and that’s even on the boxster 718 S. Which has more HP then the base Boxster. So is it still worth it for the price? 🧐🤔
I drive a 2014 Boxster S ( no turbo ) , 315 HP. I am the original owner with 88k miles. Drive it every day. In 10 years there has been no mechanical issues. It provides immediate throttle response and gets over 32mph on the highway.

Two hands on the wheel, stop draping your hand over it at 12:00 like you don’t care or you’re commuting in traffic. Doing a review on a sports car driving up and down straight roads outside an airport and trucking depot .... turns two corners, this is a lazy review
