So here it is, my first drive review in the brand new paint to sample 718 Spyder! Stay tuned for plenty of content showcasing this car soon.

He’s not pushing it at all, need a track to really push that car. I have the 981 Spyder and he’s incorrect in stating the 718 has more usable performance anywhere but the race track.

What a lovely review, you could just absolutely feel the joy in every word. Oh, and the Spyder in that Irish Green with the Golden wheels and stripes! It sounds awesome. Wish my 981 GTS sounded like that. Spyder! One day, one day!

The sound is impressive not too much and very 981 which was wonderful and its fully controlled with the device… Ninemeister can sort it all out for you….

@@DrivingVenture Thanks, considering ! Not driven one yet, many positive reviews, though one negative saying the engine delivery is flat, not feeling like 420ps and lacks character +the gear ratios(second) too long for twisty roads... Stock car he owned. Any thoughts ? 😀

The bucket seats look comfortable and hellish at the same time. It seems you're doing public road driving mostly, what would you recommend? The look supercool, but if you're chilling and doing fun driving on B-roads...is it too hardcore? #alsmosttheretobuy 😀

Would love to hear a direct comparison between your new exhaust system and the OEM….the Cargraphics does sound 💪🏻 but it’s hard to understand the amount of difference it makes ! 😊

The stock sound can be assessed on my 718 GT4 video vs this one… the difference is night and day

The difference is massive. Stock sound does not do justice to the car. I run the CG setup in my Spyder and it sounds glorious. A RU-vid video simply does not capture the difference.

Great video and I love finding creators out of nowhere who have such a passion for their cars. Thanks for another great video.I ‘ve found that after 2k miles the engine sounds better with the gearing more engaging.Just completed 3k miles am a little reserved to change the set up of the car (exhaust very appealing) as it may affect warranty and resale ?? Spyder much preferred to my previous gt4 and gt3 can’t beat open top driving regardless of the weather in the uk (Scotland particularly wet)

you could just buy a exhaust valve controller, such as the soul unit. So you can fully open the oem exhaust flaps. makes a huge difference.

As you say many owners are unhappy with the stock sound and make various modifications. I would think any changes may affect the warranty, have you encountered this or worried it may crop up?

Hi I'm in the on demand list to get a 718 Spyder. Can you please let me know what you upgrades you did to the suspension and exhaust? I also will need to check if i can make the exhaust changes are allowed in Ontario. Thanks for your help. Enjoy your car it's fantastic!

My Porsche centre will have nothing more to do with me now I’ve only spent over £500K GBP with them since 2016…. Or take a boring sounding 718 product and play safe….

Great video, love your car🔥 do you want to sell it? 😁 Can I ask why you went for the cargraphic exhaust not the JCR? I was almost certain I want the JCR non silenced race exhaust but seeing this vid a number of times it has me double thinking.

Cargraphic offer revised OPF replacement and JCR don’t… I like the control unit to close the valves for motorway driving… both are good systems I preferred the Cargraphic set up…

There is no sport plus on the 718… just the auto blip

Sport choice mannetino is on GTS models, GT4 and Spyder are effectively permanently in sport.

The Spyder looks better than the Boxster but honestly with a 718 Boxster GTS you're not missing much performance and you get a more practical roof.

lots of GTS cars around it many Spiders the weight saving is also to be considered.. A GTS will never be a proper out and out GT Produced car....

@@DrivingVenture GT4RS is the way to go unless you’re considering spending upwards of 140k on a GT3 or turbo in my opinion

@@HdHd-cg4nz a very limited supply of cars for the 4RS probably less than the Spyder for dealers to hand out… nothing compares to a GT3 the New 911 Turbo S is incredible…
