Excellent, I am looking at Commission of a 911, I have spoken to a couple of people thus far, but the Paul Stephens story and ethos is exactly right for me, great film, very informative.
One of my favorite things is a resto-mod 911. The only thing that surpasses it is a resto-mod Honda S600 hardtop. A resto-mod RUF Yellow Bird might take the cake, but other than that, the Honda S600 is my jam.
In a way yes, they looks a bit like chameleon eyes. What's really strange is that I've felt this way at the beginning of the video and at the end somehow used to them. In a way this strangeness fits the car ... a great car indeed. In a way I like it more than Singer.
Love EVERY THING " but those whimpy racing stripe/pin stripe Would have been much better with wider stripes on the front edge of the bonnet, fender to fender
@@fraserwright9482 I can understand the theme. A thin dual strip is not the solution ,to the end of what is trying to be acheived. A much better solution would be wider strips low on the front hood .Matched with a similar on rear deck.or a matching mirror image strip of what they are currently fitting on the other side of the car to visually fatten up the frailness I like and understand the car. Just those stripes make such a limp wristed statement , to an other wise , "GREAT" concept. I would have to nix them completely if it were my car.
Read this article, and then tell me if you feel the same way. www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a23390765/porsche-911-reimagined-by-singer-dynamics-lightweighting-study/ Not to take anything away from Mr. Stephens, his creations are brilliant. But Singers are on a different level.
@@ToulKorkMan Indeed, the Singer is no holds barred, no expense spared. I'm not saying it's a good deal lol. But the attention to detail is unparalleled in my opinion.
