Today we visit TK Autosports where TJ tells us all about his latest project and build: a Porsche Turbo, Chevrolet C6 LS7 engine swap, aka GREEN MONSTER. With lots of carbon fiber body panels this car weighs in at 2,905 lbs and with 500+ HP this is one super fast car with the acceleration of a C6 Z06 Corvette. TJ gives us a little background on the project and talks about the benefits and reliability of a Chevy LS7 engine. This is a great alternative to spending $50K+ for a new Porsche 911 Turbo or 911 Turbo S engine. Besides this great economic benefit there is a weight saving benefit of 200+ lbs. More importantly the weight is coming off the rear axle.
Then we go out for a drive which will go down as one of the best drives ever to date, rivaled by only the Cobra drive • Video
