Yeah, you have to use the clutch to shift through each gear.

​@@Braydenplaysallday You might be referring to a sequential transmission, which requires you to use the clutch from a stop in 1st gear, but then you can shift without the clutch when up to speed. Also, with any standard manual transmission, you can technically shift into each gear without using the clutch, but only at very specific RPMs and with a lot of finesse.

@@AnthonyMassie yes. That’s what I was referring too. A friend of mine was saying the old 5-speeds in the air cooled cars were sequential.
