I was just closing up my little shop here at Edna’s bakery in San Luis Obispo ( I’m the Fleet mechanic) but I had to stop down and watch your latest video,always more fun to watch someone else work after 38 years my old mechanic body is almost done. i had a 1500ccm vw bug from 1968 and the engine looked exactly like this one, actually many parts looke the sme :) anyways, the car really rocks, good luck with it and make nice memories with it.
@@michaelgideon6422 fun, I’m using as my daily drive - kids get a blast out of being dropped off at school. Mines ossi blue. Love the colour and original condition of yours. Good buff and that paint will look awesome. Oh and go turbo tie rods and replace that worn coupling with a Wevo one. Best $ I spent on mine

How do you like the MaxJax? I saw a set on CL in Anaheim about 6 months ago, but didn't pull the trigger. Did you reinforce your floor or make a larger plate to bolt it down? Thanks for the vids!

Thanks Dan! I did more work that I didn’t include. Mainly for the sake of keeping the video somewhat short. Definitely thought of making several shorter videos. Not sure why I chose this way lol
