Dude, sweet car. Do yourself a favor and get a Bursch header/extractor exhaust the sound is sweet and a noticeable power increase and 10 or so pound reduction on the right area. You won’t regret it.
Michael, do you love this color? I'm considering painting a non-porsche this color or similar. I love the color, it's not flashy, it's like earthy before all these modern earth tone cars of the 2020s were a thing. But on this vintage porsche, so classic. I'm not even a porsche guy or anything, but so classic. like one in a million good.
AS a 65 year old gut that has modified many an OEM to Sport exhaust spec mufflers, it is the ONLY muffler for an early 911. Well done! Last one I did was for a 69 S, maybe my 71 S, I'm old, I forget! Anyway, dang well done!
I second this request. Saw that it was lifted up with the rear wheel off in the background of one of your other videos. Hoping this means you will be posted something else before another year goes by.
I kick myself for not buying one of these 15 years ago for 6500 or 8500 when l came across it,here in Montana. It was red and ran, now l would have to sell my Boxster and Barracuda and some Guitars to get basically get that same car.Enjoy those mountain twistys!
As I go through your awesome channel I get more and more dumbfounded 😅! WAIT so you have 4 Porsches? The red, the olive, the green Targa and this white Carrera as well?!
Wow! Well done…in the beginning I didn’t think you’d get it done! Great teamwork wins the day! Really enjoyed the video and hope you continue documenting the Targa build. 😀👍👍
Oh yeah I’ve also bought a bunch of cars as shells with everything in boxes. Great way to get a deal on a classic but it’s always sad to see the guys who’ve been defeated by the process.
so amazing to see, Michael! you and Chris are absolute heroes for undertaking such a project and actually succeeding! it working so well during the overcrest rally on its maiden voyage is a true testament to how well you and chris know these cars. you should be real proud! the shop i occasionaly help at with porsche matters, here in Madrid, Spain, usually takes about three years to complete a car.... sending my boss your video immediately! very kind regards from a fellow porsche enthusiast from across the pond :)
Thanks Pablo! I've owned this car almost three years now. It was at perfect lines for about a year. I'm still very surprised how well it did on the rally! We filmed this video less than two months ago. A shop helped with a lot of the mechanical work between this video and the rally, so I certainly won't take credit for doing all the work. Appreciate the comment, and would love to visit you guys in Spain someday. Cheers
First comment! Told you to drop it today and you didn’t disappoint 🙌🏾 ⚡️. Gotta be the 1st to show ya love. Thanks as always for sharing your journey w/ these 911 beauts. I wanna be you when I grow up! 😉
