It's going so well Chris, great to hear yours is coming along well. 2 months time you will be flying around. I just got the torque tube foam so need to work out a clever way of fitting that to help with softening the cabin transmission sound. Have you still got your foam on your torque tube?

@@Witty924 yep mine was intact so it’s gone back in. I put it in when I installed the torque tube. I rebuilt all he gear linkage too, so there’s no more stirring a Rice puddling when changing gear. I remember you commenting on one of your previous videos it was a bit noisy with out the foam padding. Are you going to try and squeeze it in the the gear stick aperture? Or from underneath?

@@chrismadge7292 good to hear Chris and your gear changes will feel top notch now with that done. So I'm going to look at sliding it in through the gear stick hole. I heard that it can be done but dont want to destroy the foam so will have to use some grease to help it into place I'm sure. I have a few odd jobs to complete so will get a vid done on that to show how it works out 🤞

@@Witty924 Yes I reckon thats doable. If you need more room, put a jack under the gearbox, undo the mounts and let it come down a few inches. It might just give you some more wriggle room. Good luck.

Hey DG, sounds like the interior will come together nicely. Definitely a job I have to complete this year with the help of a local upholstery company. Hi Arqtitude, thanks for the comment. So the best way to think of it is to start with the worst case scenario. So add up everything you might have to buy brand new and then parts you could refurbish. Then if you are doing the work yourself it's just you time rather than paying someone else. As guide here is a rough list from back to front to consider. Fuel tank, fuel pumps (1 or 2 depending on year of the 924) accumulators (1or 2 depending on year of the 924) Warm up regulator, fuel distributor unit and injectors, finally all pipe work rubber and solid with fuel filters. I hope this helps with your decisions. It's always great to hear that another 924 could be saved 👍

@@arqtitudeferreiradasilvago1444 if you have the tools I would recommend refusrhing the orginal fuel tank, used one are around on ebay etc but they generally need refusrhing too. If you mean regulator as the warm up regulator then all you need is a refurb kit to get it working well again. Here it is on ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383699535414
