In this video, Rudy documents what was supposed to be a fuel injector replacement on Project Risky Business, our $4,000 1985 Porsche 928S Barn Find that turned into a full intake refresh that took the better part of April to complete and return the car back to starting and running reliably.
U.S. Spec 1985 and 1986 Porsche 928s are often called "S3" Cars, and it's often hard to find procedures specific to these two-year-only examples. In this video, Rudy takes viewers through how he changed out the following engine components:
1. Fuel Injectors and their dried-out electrical connectors
2. The Crankshaft Position Sensor
3. The Throttle Position Sensor cable
4. Engine Vacuum Line Refresh using the 928SRUS Kit
5. Ignition Amplifiers
