Porsche 991 Radar Detector power cable installation at overhead center console. 

This video installs a power connector for a radar detector tapping power from the overhead center console light cluster.
The car that's being installed is a porsche 991 cabriolet, although this procedure would be common for a hardtop car as well.
I used a 3 cable pack from Amazon ( Xislet 15" Radar Detector Hardwire Power Cord mirror wire plug Tap). It cost me $14.95.
