That GT3 Cup seems to be very very quick, great driving! Could've sworn its a GT3 with the way it kept pace with that Huracan ST, because the ST should be a bit closer to GT3s if I remember correctly.
Awesome driving, Porsche clearly had more speed through the corners. Kept thinking why doesn't he send it up the inside before remembering between them they're in $300k+ of car and contact isn't appreciated 😂
Top tier! Im hoping to atleast get simracing gear soon so i can start playing ACC, which have those beautiful cars. 😍 Also we have a very similar racing number 🙃 Mine is 58, yours is 55 XD
Hey man, great video. Could I suggest using an audio recorder device for better sound quality? Your videos would feel a lot better with a recorder! Thanks and huge luck on your carreer
@@dirkschoutenracing of course yes, look into Zoom devices, they are GREAT audio devices, the brand has a variety of audio recorders however you don't need to look into the most expensive. I have found the Zoom H5 a great 'in the middle' recording platform, and if by chance if you hace someone in your team that know about these devices you won't have to invest time in setting it up (not hard to do), I recommend putting on it a windscreen foam to avoid wind sounds in the audio. Thank you so mucj for answering dude, I hope to see one of your videos with a new device
I am sure that sound quality could be improved but I have been tracking and racing cup cars (at an amateur level for a short time) and can tell you that when I listen to this video it immediately makes me feel like I am in my 992 cup car. I really appreciate that pro drivers share their in car video as it is extremely valuable to watch, learn from and be inspired. Thanks @dirkschoutenracing
Hi Dirk! I have a question: Do you have any tips for like younger people like 16year olds to get into racing stuff? I don't have an experience of it and would be cool if you answer this. Anyways good evening tho
My cousin was already driving with Q1 and he took me with him to a testday, drove some laps in a Porsche Cup, which went very well. That’s pretty much how it started.
@@dirkschoutenracing how do you think I should start. I have been driving in very competitive kart races for 3 years and I have the budget but I dont know how to start
On a racetrack? Fast reflexes mainly and trailbraking. On the road, just be very smooth on the pedalwork, progressive throttle and not using too much of the brakes.
