After I finished weeping from Mark's beautiful smile, I pulled myself up by the bootstraps, worked hard, and went to the Porsche dealership to get that GT3. I now own a base Macan financed for 144 months @ 16%.

After driving the 991.2 GT3 at the Porsche Experience I really got the experience that you see written about the GT3. When I was younger I always figured it was just hyperbole about a way too expensive car, but the more you learn the more you understand. The sound at 9000 RPM is amazing, the razor sharp inputs and throttle response, the huge grip and brakes, and how when you figure out to load the front coming into a corner and then you can get on the throttle early on the way out to exploit the grip, it is a great feeling. Then you factor in that you basically have a bullet proof GT3 Cup engine in the car, with amazing fit and finish and you can easily understand why it costs so much.
My buddy took me for a ride back in the day when his 996 GT3 was new - car reminded me of a 600cc sportbike how it just wanted to rev and rev and how the speed built. The answer is always Porsche.
@@roboticvenom1935 The c8z is a nice accomplishment by GM, but not in the same league as a GT3. Fit, Finish, Engineering, and Euphonious all in one. (I own a c7 z06).

I've seen one recently in red. As usual it was driven by an old guy. The proportions were spot on and the whole thing with the giant wing looked majestic.
I love the gt3 and all but I really don't think it's the best travel, family or transport car out there. So less that it doesn't make the cut to be the best overall car. Something like the taycan CT or Panamera GTS would take that role.
To Mark & Jack: I don’t know for how long you can keep doing what you are doing but I appreciate your sacrifices. I doubt this will make a difference but it’s at least something. Thank you.

Mark, this video touched my soul. My dad was also into films, he traded movie-rights but it all ended in mineur ... Dad and I we both shared the same passion, cars. And while we were struggling to meet ends, we could only enjoy cars from a distance, and we did. But as you described so well in your video, this passion pushed me while taking countless hurdles. I had to say farewell to dad when Covid took him by surprise. Today, I do own that dream-car. A Porsche 911 4S and 718 GTS ... but I can't share it with dad anymore. Bittersweet. As much as it hurts, being the huge porsche fan that i am, the chances of me ever owning such an one of a kind dreamcar like the GT3 are pretty much next to none. However, through videos like this i can at least get a glimpse of what it would be like to open the door to my garage and look at an perfectly detailed GT3 that's just waiting for you to get in and start the engine so thanks for these videos and never change the way you do them. Let's me dream again too.

Great video. The car dream is is a great topic! What every car person works towards. This is why I'm watching these videos, it doesn't matter if your a huge 911 nerd or just have a love for any sports car. These types of cars have that wow factor. Never was a huge 911 fan, appreciated them, they always just looked blah. Then my best friend invited me on a ride/drive multi day car rally in his GT3RS......Ummm, this car does everything right. I'll say it again, everything! You truly have to drive one of these cars to appreciate them. Same with any great sports car. Go out and drive them, make those memories! It's worth the sacrifices to get to a point in your life to be able to open the door in your garage and realize that dream! Thanks Savagegeese for making these types of videos. Awesome video. The sound of that engine is what I love the most. I’m very blessed to have two of those engines, a 991.2 Touring and a 718 Spyder. Both manual.

I loved the subdued audio. I'm constantly riding the volume on everything I watch out of politeness to others around me and it's a pain in the ass in the age of extreme dynamics and youtubers with no concept of sound mixing. Thank you for not making me turn the volume up to hear you speaking and then blowing my speakers with sudden engine screaming, and for using softer music instead of the standard aggro stuff normally used in car videos. My volume finger and neighbors appreciate it.

One beautiful thing about living in Las Vegas is I can drive virtually any car I want, including the new GT3 (and soon RS) on a track any time I want. It really is special, and an amazing experience. Great video.
I never liked Porsches until I heard and drove the GT3 RS. What got me hooked was high revving (9k rpm) and amazing sound of the engine and second the handling. Never be a brand fan, be a product fan. No matter what brand it is, look at their product. And a GT3 and previous Gen GT3 RS are on the top of a car enthusiasts list.

When people say that the days of true automotive excellence are behind us clearly have been living under a rock because cars like the 992 GT3 are some of the best cars humans have ever made, and they’re continuing to improve. I have never been a huge Porsche fan but as of recently they have been knocking it out of the ball park with all of their new models, and the GT3 (RS) has quickly risen to being my favorite new car on sale today.
Awesome! And well said, as usual. On a video production related note, it’s crazy how much big, modern tracks in the middle of a field dull the sense of speed for viewers. This holds true all the way up to F1. There’s just little justice for the actual pace. Half speed on a hilly, twisty, and wooded backroad is more engaging. I even feel that way when I’m doing the driving. Would love to see you produce a video in a Best Motoring/touge setting.

Superb video. This channel is what Top Gear wishes it could be. Love the no BS shaking cameras and lack of ridiculous sound effects and bad acting. Yours is a true enthusiasts channel. My favorite car channel on RU-vid and it's not even close.
In complete honesty. After owning modern Porsches from the turbo engine range to the GT3. Including my GT3 Touring. None of them can provide the excitement & edginess of a classic air cooled car. It’s really only something that can be understood once you’ve been in & out of the classics. The longhood & g-body cars are pinnacle 911. As much as the GT3 is a marvelous weapon on track. It really doesn’t have the same fizz on the street as a classic. Take it from someone who waited years to get my GT3 Touring. It will be my last modern Porsche. Only classics for me going forward.
I just finished racing my built, yellow 993 Carrera RS Club Sport with 500hp in Gran Turismo with a full cockpit setup and h pattern shifter and it’s so fun it blows my mind. I can’t imagine driving this GT3 on track in real life. It must be Nirvana.

It’s the rawness. I’ve always been a Porsche guy and even driving other cars such as Mclaren and LAMBO, I still always wanted to jump back into my car. Speed is one thing but the connectedness and feel of every input is what makes me love the GT3.
My godfather just let me autocross his 2022 718T cayman and it was something I'll cherish forever. What I felt has been encapsulated and expressed here in a way that is truly special. Cheers

I also recently lost my 1 year old Son (3 weeks ahead of our wedding, my fiance of 10 years left me because of it). Getting my brand new Porsche is the only thing keeping me going. That's it. THANK YOU for leaving in some uncut onboard scenes. These POVs are the only thing that really relate to the viewer, at least give him a rough taste, of how a car handles. Plus, as a non-semite European, I am generally pro not being cut :)

Your humor. production chops but most importantly great storytelling - has reached the next level and I look forward to each and every video you produce, Something about this one is different though and I was epecially touched by this masterpiece.. Beautiful video gentlemen you are a pleasure to watch. I just drove the GT3 at the Porsche Atlanta center. I own a 911 Turbo but my next Porsche will have to be the GT3.
From goosebumps to tearing up to anger that this car isn't in my budget to being hopeful that maybe someday it just might.. This video pulled me in all sorts of emotional directions. Great job on conveying your experience with such a great automobile.
What I always appreciate about you guys is that you know when to shut up while driving and let the car do the talking. Everything you say has purpose and timing, so that when you're in the car and it's singing around the track you don't have to blab on about how you're feeling, not like SOME youtubers.

It’s like I’ve been in a dream for six straight weeks since picking up my first P-car a 2022 Cayman GTS. Coming from a humble background I never thought I would ever get to own one. But you said it best it makes me wanna work harder and trade up to the GT3!
