Common Vu this was HORRIBLE! There were many things in your outline I was very interested in however you skipped right over them. If you're going to put an outline together please stick to it. Very unprofessional. Very poorly produced and a black eye for PCA and the brand. You should step down and hand these duties to someone more capable.

@@er98ah I did. Found a 96 C2 coupe guards red manual with 95k miles in Canada of all places about 2 months after I posted this comment here. I started looking in Canada and found the car in consignment. The car had been imported to Canada from the US 15 years prior by its then current owner. He had gotten old and decided to part ways with the car. I had two PPIs done on the car and other than the usual seals needing to be done, the car was in great shape. I did a major service on the car to bring all the servicing up to date as well as new tires. Replaced the front bumper with an OEM turbo bumper and did a full detail myself with the help of a friend. Also did dry ice undercarriage cleaning, new headlight covers and replaced the halogen bulbs with HIDs. The car has been amazing since. Given what I paid due to what they are going for, I think I did alright. I would love to own a widebody one day but its tough to justify 120k plus for just the wider rear fenders. My 997.2 C4S fill that gap nicely though. It is awesome pair to own and I think an air cool 911 would do the same for you. I can’t agree that Singer, et al… are ‘helping us’ -there is no altruism in what they do by gulping-up the 964 P-cars and increasing the market value of a limited supply (‘free-enterprise’ has its faults)

The C2S is a standard C2 with a widebody and therefore has factory spacers on the rear to accommodate the 17" cup wheels because it's basically a base Carrera with a widebody and nothing else. I have the same on mine. The C4S meanwhile was also a widebody (the C4 was a narrow body) but it also added the Turbo's brakes, 18" wheels (no spacers) and if I'm correct the Turbo's suspension as well.

Generally maybe, but I would never swap my 993 cab for a coupe.

Tiptronic was porsches automatic transmission . But it is not a dual clutch ( PDK) transmission.

@@charlesreaddy6585 Oh really... well, it's been 35 years since I read up on it as a teenager :) I remember that the article said that not even the best manual driver is able to out-shift it in a 0-100 run... is that backed up by real world experience? Anyway, I don't think Mercedes used a Tipronic-like box at the time - it is hard to imagine that they built one for Porsche, only... I know that the 928 had MB's regular automatic and MB generally lend Porsche a hand off and on over the years...

@@2Greenlid also available in 996 range. Was a powerkit. Even the 991 had it as an option, having the same power as a gts

Mine came that way as well, upgraded to turbo twist hollowspokes, but now wish I'd also kept the cups!
