X pipe: www.fvd.net/us-en/21011123/ca... Mini cats: www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-... Thank you to King's Automotive for the install! 172 Glenwild Ave, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403
Great video. I have the same FVD x-pipe combined with headers and a remapped ECU. The sound is great and no power loss with the tune. The car does smell like a lawn mower now with the cats gone 😅
@@tomgorelik thanks man. I have a custom tune made at a Porsche tuner in the Netherlands. It doesn’t add much stress since it’s a N/A engine, so they just optimized it for the new exhaust. I had the engine rebuilt 5.000 km ago, so I’m not too worried about additional stress on the engine components anymore
@@Jean-Paul_1984 and what exactly goes into the optimization? Is it optimized to not have any type of low RPM bucking issues when you get rid of the cats?
It’s an Amazon led strip technically meant for the hood - supposed to look like an accent light the same as say a new electric VW - but I got it in red and extra long to account for the full tail light assembly
@@xaviercrespo6795 absolutely. Forgot to mention, I also wrapped said light strip with clear red vinyl to match the color a bit better and give a deeper red
Can you do a full review of your LED taillight showing: Brand, Brightness (lumens), Length, Install Process? Also How to Electrically Connect. Yours looks perfect as is. Trial and Error could be quite the hassle. Thanks!
The thumbnail is slightly deceiving because I had 15mm front and 18mm rear with occasional rub. However, I’ve since gotten Michelin PS4S and had to get rid of the spacers because it started to rub allll the time. As it stands now, it’s strictly h&r sport springs (red) and Bilstein B8. No more spacers.
I’ve read a ton about loss of power way down low and I can’t say I feel that - the only thing I feel at times is bogging way down low primarily from a dead start and that 110% is attributed to loss of scavenging (back pressure). I guess that’s normal on a NA car. However, butt dyno says it’s woken up in noise and response north of 3k rpm and that’s where I want it to live anyway haha
