Nice to see your CASIS light and fuel economy gauge working. Still trying to figure out what's wrong with mine. Tried cleaning all of the ribbon cable contacts and football-shaped resistors? with no improvement. I'll eventually figure it out. I think we would be bored to tears if we didn't have cars that needed constant maintenance and modifications....lol! BTW, you now have 944 subscribers. Take a snapshot because that isn't going to last for very long ! Oh yeah, nice wheel. If I get something new, it's probably going to be the MOMO Jet. Always liked the look of that plus I have a Genuine Porsche-Crest/MOMO horn button that I got years ago before MOMO stopped making them.
lol lizard I was literally planning a video discussing that topic 😂😂😂😂 and I did! I created a post on my community page! Still working the details out of how to celebrate! 😄 On the early car the shift light was grounded by the DME via a spade connector on the back of the gauge. I have no idea how the circuit works in the later cars, but I imagine it but be via the same way, I’d start with finding which pin on the connector it corresponds to and measure continuity, that plastic flexible pcb is insane and not what I was expecting to find in an 80s car lol.
